Came here for Father’s Day so expected a half decent time. We were sat promptly and chose our food. First starter we wanted wasn’t available on a 2pm booking. Ordered starters and mains and a kids meal. 10 minutes later somebody different came over and asked if we were ready to order. Not great. Around 30 minutes later our mains came out before starters. Mains were taken away and another 10 minutes later basic starters came out and didn’t match what was on the menu. Another few minutes we were asked what was accompanying the kids meal when we’d already told them. Starters finished and our mains that had been sitting under the light for 15 minutes came out. Salad was warm and brown. I got a replacement. Roast was apparently ok. I had to ask twice for mayo. Not offered any further drinks during the meal. Not busy in there either. It’s a shame as the place is nice and we’ve eaten here before and it’s been nice hence why I chose to go back. We left before our plates were cleared and didn’t consider a dessert. We had the bill discounted but that’s not the point.

Reasonable Sunday lunch (a few of the vegetables were hard) spoilt by haphazard service and noisy waiting staff.

Three of us went for a meal and drinks on a Friday evening, pre booked the table just in case. We ordered some wine and then the food. All the food met and over achieved our expectations. Yes we had room for afters and another drink. The young lady ( Sophia or Sophie) was very new to serving but she looked after us very well. This is the second time of eating in this establishment and it will not be the last.

Me and my partner had an exceptional Sunday roast with the duo of beef and pork! Price was very reasonable due to the quality of the meal! Hats off to the chef, will deffo eat here again!

We ordered the special pie, venison & Bacon, steak &ale pie and chicken schnitzel, food was fabulous and our waitress was great, she was new but made us feel very welcome and was friendly. We were served in a timely manner and the food was reasonably priced.

Excellent customer service all around, fast efficient and have a great well organised team! A new girl who stated she was new was brilliant as well.

From start to finish our meal was a shamble, not enough forks, glasses and plates were dirty food come out in dribs and drabs, items on the plate were not what were meant to be! obviously they had run out of lots of items. Such a shame as it was a Mother’s Day treat and clearly was not well staffed or used to a busy. Definitely not returning!
