Au White Horse Tavern, nous nous efforçons de créer une nouvelle expérience culinaire contemporaine dans le plus ancien restaurant d'Amérique. Comme les générations avant nous, nous servons du poisson frais, des palourdes et des homards de la baie de Narragansett ainsi que des produits fraîchement récoltés dans les fermes de la région de Rhode Island. Nous avons rejoint la scène culinaire dynamique de RI pour vous servir les meilleurs fromages artisanaux, miels, morceaux de bœuf et du poisson local fraîchement pêché - le tout dans une taverne coloniale ouverte depuis plus de 350 ans. Alors venez nous rendre visite pour goûter au Rhode Island du XXIe siècle dans notre taverne du XVIIe siècle. Vous ne serez pas déçu ! Une tenue correcte est exigée, de type country club ou tenue d'affaires décontractée avec chemise. Les vestons ne sont pas obligatoires. Loved it! Only had one night in Newport and wanted it to be special. Altho lots of seafood temptations - zero regrets and glad to have chosen White Horse!

What an awesome dining experience. The historic ambience and the food were amazing. Our servers were knowledgeable and very courteous!

Felt a part of history knowing this place served George and Martha Washington. Service and food were great. Be sure to make reservations.

Upon arrival waiter spilt entire glass of water on the table and we were dry until he abruptly jerked the table cloth off the water to my lap. Friends of our were eating down stairs and upon completion of their meal they attempted to join us but our waiter was clearly upset and complained to the hostess and the manager. The manager instructed our friends to leave even though they clearly could have stayed without issue as the tables to each side of us were soon cleared and not used the remainder of the evening. I think that for people spending over $500 for dinner most upscale restaurants would have treated the situation far differently and certainly in a kinder and more professional manner. The waiter needs to consider leaving the hospitality industry and do something that does not involve public interaction.

1st time I had ever been at White Horse Tavern, it was great! Food and atmosphere were terrific!

This was such a premier experience for us being from Virginia. Our server was gracious and very attentive. We chose an old fashioned to start and ur did nit disappoint. The Beef Wellington was prepared to perfection and the whipped potatoes and carrots were a fabulous compliment. To end our evening we ordered the bread pudding, nothing less than Wow!! It was a fantastic evening!!

Wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary. Food was wonderful, service very good and terrific ambience. Really enjoyed the evening.
