We are a country Gastropub owned by farmers. Our farm supplies the beef, lamb and pork and we source other ingredients from local producers where we can. Our small seasonal menu changes regularly reflecting what is available in our area. We pride ourselves on being very much a country pub, offering freshly prepared seasonal food and a warm welcome. We also love offering locally produced drinks, such as gins, rums, ales and wines, giving you the complete taste of Sussex.

Our weekend menu is our delicious Asado Grill. A slightly reduced but very tasty BBQ menu, where everything is cooked on our outdoor grill. We advise to book in as we get very busy!

A really lovely pub, serving delicious food from the farm. Rare these days. Local beer and cider and a v good Bloody Mary. Will definitely be going back.

Table booked for 6:30pm Saturday for 3 of us. The food was very tasty - the hummus was quite garlicky, so be warned! Friendly efficient staff, 10% service charge added to the bill which you can ask to remove. Stunning views, sit outside if possible. Definitely worth a visit.

We felt that a 9.45pm last orders and 10.30pm close on a Friday evening was incredibly early. We were actually told we had to leave at 10.35pm and were forced to sit outside and finish our drinks so that the restaurant could clean. It was most bizarre experience.
