We are a country Gastropub owned by farmers. Our farm supplies the beef, lamb and pork and we source other ingredients from local producers where we can. Our small seasonal menu changes regularly reflecting what is available in our area. We pride ourselves on being very much a country pub, offering freshly prepared seasonal food and a warm welcome. We also love offering locally produced drinks, such as gins, rums, ales and wines, giving you the complete taste of Sussex.

Our weekend menu is our delicious Asado Grill. A slightly reduced but very tasty BBQ menu, where everything is cooked on our outdoor grill. We advise to book in as we get very busy!

    Lunch with my wife. Very poor service: forgot cutlery - twice, no salt and pepper, coffee served before desert: amiable but totally untrained staff. Not a service issue, but had to send filet steak back as impossible to cut because of gristle.

    Excellent food service and ambience once again. Two of the group opted for the vegetarian option and loved it .

    Excellent food and service, although very slow. Beautiful views and lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend if you are prepared to wait.

    We were staying here for the weekend and we had dinner Friday and Saturday night. The food was great and I loved the fact that the pub is owned by farmers. Sunday lunch was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

    fabulous location with plenty of easy parking, quality food - beautifully cooked and presented, friendly and professional well informed staff - thoughtful, excellent local wine too ... we travel to make this our local .. indoor and outdoor seating maximising views, well maintained terrace area with comfortable seating .. money invested with attention to detail to make this very pleasant place to be .. great place to stay if walking, working, holidaying in the area.
