Excellent food and atmosphere. Very friendly wait staff, but overall poor service. Food was served lukewarm warm, received one incorrect entree, no coffee refills offered. So much potential if properly staffed/trained.

Great food. Shrimp and grits excellent. Decorations were so fun and fantastic, dog art everywhere. I would come back for sure!

They stuck us at the worst table, had a missing shade on light above so was sooooo bright, by the window first room, and because we were in no man’s land we rarely saw our server.

Short ribs were superb. Craft cocktails not so much. New bartender was struggling. Outstanding service. It is quite loud, but that didn’t bother us too much as we were in a corner.

I am happy to give a 5-star review to White Dog Cafe-Wayne. My family, friends, and I have dined there regularly for more than 15 years. We love the ambience, service and the food! We have celebrated many birthdays and other special occasions at White Dog Cafe and we've had a great experience each and every time.

I followed our server’s recommendation and ordered the halibut special. Not only did the portion appear to be half the size of a typical serving but it was dry and tasteless. I was so disappointed but hungry so I ate about half of it. My son and husband said their food was lukewarm and tasted like it had been sitting under the lights. I mentioned to the server that the fish was dry but got no response. We won’t be hurrying back for another dinner anytime soon.

The ambience was better and improved over our last visit, as was the service and the quality of food. Everyone very much enjoyed their meals. The waitress was very friendly and excellent all around.
