White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The menu includes several White Dog staples, such as Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Double Cheddar Burger, Lamb Bolognese, Truffle Fries, and house-made bread baskets from local farms, alongside new additions.

Food very mediocre, salad swimming in dressing, ambiance excellent, service pleasant but, too busy to be attentive. Drinks arrived after food. Disappointed

Relatively new restaurant in area. Facility is very nice. Seating was slow although we arrived at our reservation time. Service was slow but restaurant was very busy on a holiday weekend. Food was OK (meatloaf, duck, and salmon BLT) but duck was very tough---suggest they try brining it hereafter. Creme brulee was almost certainly a mix. A vey active restaurant with a lot of bar traffic---certainly not the place for a nice, quiet dinner. We will likely go back even though the menu is uninspiring....nothing on the menu would specifically bring me back.

Started with wonderful service at the bar. Were seated for dinner in a very nice room. Waitress was engaging and did an excellent job. The meals and service could not have been better. Loved the decor of the restaurant. Also the restroom was spotless. Looking forward to going again.

Though this location is relatively new as it was originally Vickers restaurant it was well done with the design. Large dining area along with other dining areas to fit any events needs. Outside dining area as well and pet friendly for well behaved dogs. Traditional art on the walls that White Dog is known for. Food is good. Staff pleasant. Worth trying if you’ve never been. I will visit again.

We sat out in the “potting shed,” and it was perfect on a warm night! The food was incredible…the tuna tartare is amazing. Our server was friendly, flexible, willing to banter, attentive, and offered excellent suggestions.

Food was great, service was excellent, atmosphere was terrific. We go to several different restaurants every Saturday evening, over several years we complied a list of favorites, we are adding White Dog in Chester Springs to our list. Whoever did the remodel the inside and out did an exceptional job. We will definitely be there again!

The atmosphere of this new restaurant is exactly what Chester Springs needed. The food was great and the staff was friendly. Definitely will be going back!

Be aware that there is a 3% Credit Card Convenience Fee. When I returned home,and reviewed my receipt, it was then that I discovered this fee . Disappointing. However, Dinner was excellent.
