White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The menu includes several White Dog staples, such as Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Double Cheddar Burger, Lamb Bolognese, Truffle Fries, and house-made bread baskets from local farms, alongside new additions.

Started with wonderful service at the bar. Were seated for dinner in a very nice room. Waitress was engaging and did an excellent job. The meals and service could not have been better. Loved the decor of the restaurant. Also the restroom was spotless. Looking forward to going again.

We sat out in the “potting shed,” and it was perfect on a warm night! The food was incredible…the tuna tartare is amazing. Our server was friendly, flexible, willing to banter, attentive, and offered excellent suggestions.

Food was great, service was excellent, atmosphere was terrific. We go to several different restaurants every Saturday evening, over several years we complied a list of favorites, we are adding White Dog in Chester Springs to our list. Whoever did the remodel the inside and out did an exceptional job. We will definitely be there again!

The atmosphere of this new restaurant is exactly what Chester Springs needed. The food was great and the staff was friendly. Definitely will be going back!

Be aware that there is a 3% Credit Card Convenience Fee. When I returned home,and reviewed my receipt, it was then that I discovered this fee . Disappointing. However, Dinner was excellent.

We enjoyed our appetizers particularly the Onion Soup and the very fresh Oysters. Each of us ordered a different entree all of which were excellent. Our waitress, Kayla paid attention to detail and made our dining experience a memorable one. We will definitely return again.

Great meal. Place is beautiful. Cocktails at the bar need some work. At this price point they should make a really nice cocktail and they don’t.

Great new location, the various themed room and outside options allow for several different experiences, from intimate to a lovely open outdoor space, all at wonderful new addition to the local restaurant options for Chester Springs.

Outstanding in every way, it is truly my favorite restaurant. I had company from Dallas, TX who loved it. They said no restaurant in Dallas could compare to the White Dog Cafe in Chester Springs.
