White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The menu includes several White Dog staples, such as Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Double Cheddar Burger, Lamb Bolognese, Truffle Fries, and house-made bread baskets from local farms, alongside new additions.

What a wonderful transformation to a vibrant , fresh new look. Our waiter James was outstanding. Manager Sam, as usual, above and beyond. Can’t say enough good things about this place and it’s staff.

Lovely experience and they really took care of us, making it special for my birthday. The food was amazing, delicious, and the waitress was great. Checked in regularly and helpful. Would highly recommend for a special occasion!

Another great meal at White Dog in Chester Springs! We visited today with friends and ate at the bar where we met a very fun bartender, Jessica, who made our day! Once again, I had curried chicken salad, this time with a cup of squash soup. Delicious! I think Chester Springs has turned into my favorite White Dog. I love the farmhouse atmosphere and all of the different rooms which beautifully incorporate the old house with the new build on.

Excellent service. Superb cocktail. Beautiful ambiance. Plates were completely cleaned. Best meal in a very long time. Highly recommend for one to enjoy a lovely adult afternoon or evening out.

Went late afternoon and sat outside under the pergola. Again had great appetizers and food and our server was very nice and efficient. Will be back!

Ordered flounder piccata and had to use my husbands steak knife to cut through it due to being overcooked…..my husband got the pork special for$41 and it was so dry he couldn’t eat it…. Chef should know better and do better ….I also ordered a glass of wine to have with dinner and never received it until I one more bite left of my dinner! We went there to celebrate our wedding Anniversary and we WILL NOT be coming back! Sad that we had such a terrible first experience… I will be sharing our experience with my neighbors and friends
