Welcome to a corner of the French Mediterranean. Nestled between London’s St James and Soho, Whitcomb’s serves modern interpretations of classic dishes found along the sunny stretches of the French and Italian rivieras. Simple yet elegant cuisine, prepared à la minute.

As a West End restaurant, Whitcomb’s is ideal for pre- and post-theatre dining, set just a stone’s throw away from theatres such as the London Coliseum, Gielgud Theatre, Duke of York’s Theatre, and many more. Whitcomb’s also serves a delicious Express Lunch menu, perfect for business lunches or a break from shopping on the nearby Regent Street and Bond Street.

Join us to bask in the sunshine on our summer terrace by Veuve Clicquot, a spot for alfresco dining on Leicester Square, serving Champagne tasting flights, cocktails, oysters and fresh cuisine.

Choose our set menu for pre- and post-theatre dining in the West End. We have many theatres on our doorstep, such the Prince of Wales Theatre (2 minutes’ walk), the London Coliseum and the Duke of York’s Theatre (3-4 minutes’ walk). For fine wine pairings, ask our sommeliers for a recommendation from our extensive wine list, which features some of the greatest vintages of Bordeaux and wines by Coravin.

Upcoming celebration? Dine together with Mediterranean sharing plates and flowing drinks at Whitcomb’s, located between Soho and St James. Our group dining menus encompass a wide range of dishes, designed to please every palate (including vegetarian and gluten-free options). Enjoy a table for 9+ guests in a semi-private spot, perfect for soaking up the atmosphere of the restaurant. Please note, we do not take deposits. A credit card is required to make a booking. Reservations are accepted 72 hours prior to your booking time otherwise it may be cancelled. Additional dishes can be ordered on the night to supplement your dining experience.

Food was good but tiny portions. The restaurant was empty but for some reason it took one hour to get our entrees.

Whitcomb's is perfectly positioned for dining before a performance at the Harold Pinter Theatre. All our dishes were delicious, and some were interesting and unusual. Our server was helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive. We'll be back!

enjoyed the set menu, staff were very professional and attentive, menu was good. particularly enjoyed starter and desert choices. weather wasn't warm enough to sit outside, and the indoor restaurant was a little cold as the door was open. However, we had a really nice experience and would recommend.

Lovely good really delicious and great service the waitresses were excellent very attentive. It’s a beautiful restaurant and in the evening next door there was live music and a bar to go and sit it. Truly lovely.

A most wonderful space, sadly quite empty yet that didn't spoil our evening. The staff were so courteous and friendly, the food was absolutely delicious. The Dover Sole dish was quite possibly the best fish dish I've ever had. It's great to have a bar should you arrive early, like we did. What was particularly welcome was their flexibility and relaxed nature. We sat in the bar and didn't have to rush off on the dot to get to our table. They didn't rush us in the slightest, yet kept our water glasses full. It really is a lovely restaurant.
