Le restaurant primé Whiski Rooms propose une cuisine écossaise fraîche, ainsi qu'une carte des boissons, où figurent vins, cocktails, bières et whiskys. Le Whiski Rooms a la réputation d'être l'un des meilleurs restaurants d'Édimbourg, l'un des meilleurs bars à whisky du monde et le premier à faire des échanges commerciaux avec le bar à whisky-restaurant Ardbeg Embassy. En outre, il a gagné le titre de bar à whisky de l'année en 2014/2015 et dispose d'une salle où se déroulent quotidiennement des dégustations de whisky. Les aliments proviennent tous des environs. We spent our last dinner in Edinburgh at the Whiski Rooms. We had the salmon, the lobster Mac and cheese, and the stake pie. It was all delicious, and the portions a were generous. The whiskey and cocktail offerings were good. The staff were friendly, helpful and quick. Overall a great experience that we would recommend to anyone.

Lovely bar and restaurant. Food was great as were the drinks. Large selection of whiskies as to be expected. Staff were friendly & happy to help in any way.

It was our first time here, food and drinks were good overall. However, since everything on the menu sounds so exciting, we will appreciate more if we were given more time to look through the menu instead of being rushed to order. It felt like the staff who served us was rather pushy and impatient -- she came and asked twice if we were ready to order, we said we needed more time to think, so we suggested if we can order the starter first while we decide on the main, she said nope and just left abruptly. Understood that the restaurant was busy on a Saturday night, I guess if the staff wants to make sure we order as quickly as possible, she could also help by giving a bit more information about certain dishes instead of just saying "there are two different dishes".

Went for dinner with my wife and daughter had salmon for starter a bit over priced for what it was my wife had the same it was ok but nothing special Main course I had the fish and chips or whisky fish and chias it said on the menus (not been near a whisky) the fish was good but I counted 13 chips to accompany the fish My wife had the chicken burger and chips again sparse on the chips and my daughter had the Mac and cheese ( not much you can say about that ) during the meal my daughter wanted some water and as no one wanted to serve us we went up to the bar and asked At the end of the meal my daughter went to the loo and while she was there we were harassed as the wanted the table ( we weren’t even in the place a hour) Overall over priced it would have been cheeped to go to the five star restaurant in St Andrew square or the hotel at the east end of princess street whisky bar I guess its aimed at the one shot tourist that won’t be back My advice go somewhere else

Great meal as always at the Whiski Rooms. And great service too, also as usual. My wife and I had lunch today to celebrate a recent birthday, and both enjoyed our fish and chips and tasty desserts. The wee dram to wash it down was also excellent. Our waiter was attentive, funny and informative.
