Located at the entrance to the Hill Country in Driftwood, Texas, Whiskey Ridge will serve elevated home-style offerings featuring Texas meat and fresh Gulf Coast Seafood cooked over our coal fire grill. I didn’t give 5 stars for overall just because this is the 2nd time we have been here and both times took awhile on bar drinks. The food comes out exceptionally fast, but the bar drinks take a bit. The staff is always friendly and accommodating! Food and drinks are great!

We definitely will be going back. This is one of those places where you’ll always have a good time. Great for any occasion.

2nd time eating here and again not disappointed. Food (gulf oysters and flounder) were excellent. Fish plus the Cobbler for dessert were amazing. Good drinks and our waitress Chastity couldn’t have been better. Nice to have a restaurant like this close & where you don’t have to put with Austin traffic! Only negative is that they are booked! So plan accordingly. We’ll be dining here again soon.

Service was excellent. Food: was ok, the NY strip was served swimming in au jus, which made the presentation look bad, and it drowned the steak. Plus it didn’t give any extra flavor. The strip was cooked perfectly medium rare but the steak was not tender for a wagyu strip. We also ordered the sautéed gulf coast flounder which they sub with Red fish because they sold out of the flounder, (we had a late reservation so we appreciated them for still being able to do the dish with another fish they had). The dish was good and we enjoyed the brown butter meunière sauce that was served with it. We also ordered a side of the mac and cheese and it was delicious. Bar: They had a great selection of whiskey (they had all the allocated whiskey also) and the drink my wife order was really good. Over all good experience, it’s nice to have a upscale restaurant in this area. Would go back.

Whiskey Ridge did not disappoint! The food was amazing from the calamari, the redfish tacos, and the chicken fried ribeye! Everything was top quality. Our server, Mateo was truly the BEST ever. He was so friendly, attentive, and knew the menu thoroughly. We'll definitely be back and will bring our friends!

This has become our go to spot for dinner when in the Kyle area. Food has consistently been great and the service is awesome! And desserts, oh my, are next level!
