Absolutely worst experience. Our young kids were not served for almost two hours. They brought us the wrong meals two times before we had to just order something else. Waiter also spilled both of their drinks and it took forever to get new ones. While this is the ideal spot to watch the fireworks it is way overpriced, food is subpar, and they blocked all streets to the restaurant so we literally had to park two miles away. Never will go back!

First of all, finding the parking for the restaurant was very confusing. There's a sign for it at the public lot entrance...but only if you're approaching it from the other direction. Also, the restaurant provides a code to get two hours of free parking; unfortunately, only one of the kiosks offers that option and it was out of service. So we had to walks about five minutes to the next kiosk and pay for parking (luckily, we were early for our reservation). As for the restaurant itself, it was fine. We sat outside so that my out-of-town guests could enjoy the view of the harbor. They had a DJ playing outside, but fortunately the music wasn't obtrusive. I had some concerns about the menu because most of the items that I liked indicated they were spicy, and I don't do spicy. I finally ordered the grilled chicken sandwich on the recommendation of the server and was very underwhelmed with it. It looked like a nice sized chicken breast...until I took off the bun to remove the onions. The chicken breast had been cut in half and strategically placed so that there was no chicken in the middle of the bun! My guests seemed to enjoy their food and the side Caesar salad I got instead of the fries was really good, which is why I gave it four stars. There are so many other options on the water in Marina del Rey, I'm not sure I would go there again.

The location is nice as it is on the marina, however the food was disappointing. Most of the food was just okay, the best was the garlic fries. We had a dozen oysters, which were just okay, Lobster roll my boyfriend liked the bread and I had Wild Mushroom Pappardelle Pasta, mushrooms were just simple, white mushrooms you can buy from the grocery store and it was so insanely salty it was not edible, I ordered bread to try to break up the saltiness and explained to the waiter that the pasta was too salty. This was also explained to the manager? (He was walking around asking everyone how the meal was) his reply was to smile and say “well I hope you come back” lol as we pay the check, the waiter asked if I wanted a box to take my meal home again said the pasta is too salty. I’m unable to eat it and that is the reason why there’s so much on the plate and why I can’t take it home. My recommendation would be to maybe go to happy hour if you really want to try this place or just skip it.

Great Ambiance, beautiful view, outstanding customer service, drinks were very delicious and prices are reasonable. Definitely coming back to this gem!

Food was delish, service was outstanding, menu is limited but has great choices, the dj’s music was awesome, just a tad loud. Loved the ambiance after attending a memorial at sea. Would definitely recommend Whiskey Red’s as well as go back again!

Love the setting! It's nice to have the plexiglass and sit by the water. The happy hour menu is one of the best in the area. However, the fries tasted old and the calamari was over cooked. It wasn't the best parts either. The $1 special on oysters was great but the oysters didn't slide out of the shell to eat and they had no flavor. More sauces & sea water would add flavor to the oysters. Still, I'll be back and I recommended it to a friend today.

Beautiful work completed at the location, since we last visited it May 2016. Open Space, lost off seating in and outside the restaurant. Accessible for all ages to enjoy the entire restaurant.
