This was our first time at this restaurant -the overall experience was good; we totally enjoyed your outside beach setting with chairs and fire ring, live music, it had a romantic feel! We waited more than 20 minutes for our meals but the restaurant did bring chips/dip to fill the time ( which was on the house). Our meals were good, tasty and good value for the money. We will return to Whiskey Joe’s!

It took a long time for the waitress to come to us and bring our drinks and she forgot the silverware and the condiments. Our food was cold. She didn't come back around for a long time and we sat for a long time with our food without utensils the atmosphere was nice outside by the beach, had it actually was a celebration for a birthday, but we didn't even mention that to her. I mentioned it when I booked it because it was downright a terrible experience.

We made a reservation for indoor seating but when we arrived there was a sign saying that indoor seating was closed and only outdoor seating was available. Despite being disappointed, we were hungry so decided to be seated outside. The waitress, Allison (Alleycat) was amazing. She took our order quickly, told us the kitchen was really busy but she’d do what she could do to expedite our appetizer order. She came back several times to let us know how much longer it would be for our meals to arrive. Quite honestly, we really didn’t realize how much time it took for our order and sitting outside under fans was comfortable enough! Great job Whiskey Joe’s kitchen staff and especially ‘Alleycat’!

The restaurant and drinks were good as usual. Service was excellent as well. Do inside when this warm out but the outdoor area is incredible during cooler half of the year. They have a wide menu which makes it easy for someone to find something they like.

We drove to Whiskey Joe's in the pouring rain and arrived much earlier than our reservation. The hostess seated us and it was Happy Hour. We ordered from the HH menu. The food arrived quickly as the place was not very crowded. There was a nice view of the Manatee River. Service was prompt and the prices were fine. We ordered the fish tacos (each of us) and drinks. We were in and out within the hour. All was fine.
