We serve up tasty farm-to-kitchen dishes and cocktails, all made from scratch with ingredients sourced from local and regional farms and markets. We use slow-cooking methods on our wood grill and spit and in our smoker because it tastes better that way. Come dine with us at our communal tables, in one of our booths, on our sofas or rocking chairs, or perhaps on the porch next to the fireplace.

We loved the ambiance of the space and our server (Cheryl I think) was fantastic. She was managing a lot of tables but was doing it well. She was friendly, prompt and attentive. Our cocktails were perfectly balanced, well presented the the flavors were well blended. You could tell they made their own juices and syrups in house. We ordered the hummus and charcuterie as starters and both were delicious…perfect portions, flavorful and well-seasoned. For the main course my husband got the Tavern Burger and it honestly was really good but the brioche bun fell apart with the juiciness of the burger making it a knife and fork venture. I got the rotisserie chicken salad and the ingredients were very fresh but the pieces of chicken were really chewy and hard to eat and there was very little feta on the salad. I also found the dressing to be lacking in flavor. I didn’t mention anything to Cheryl as it was good enough to eat and I left full, but it just wasn’t great. We would definitely go back and maybe order different main courses next time.

Food was delicious. Gavin was our server and he was outstanding. Truly. My friends flight wasn’t leaving for two hours and he was so patient with us! He really stayed on top of it, so we were very happy.

This was an incredible meal and experience. I cannot believe I’d never heard of this place. We happened upon it looking for brunch near the international mall. We enjoyed cocktails, their HOMEMADE cinnamon roll, we watched the bakery too. As well as the croque madame and eggs Benedict. Everything was delicious, did not wait long for our food and we had lovely service thanks to Anastasia. Ask for her. I cannot to return and bring my friends!

This was our second time dining at Whiskey Cake and everything was just as good as the first time. 🙂. Their farm-to-kitchen dishes are absolutely delicious and this restaurant has fast become our favorite place for dinner when we travel to Tampa.

I was there yesterday for brunch with a small group to celebrate my cousin's birthday and, I must say, the food was delicious. Each dish was bursting with flavor and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. However, I was disappointed with the service we received from our server. She appeared to be in a foul mood and it impacted our dining experience. It's such a shame that her attitude overshadowed the overall experience. I hope management reminds their staff that, when coming to work, personal issues stay at the door, that customers are not responsible for whatever is going on at home, and to treat others as they would want to be treated, as poor service greatly impacts the overall impression of the restaurant.
