We’re serving up chef inspired, farm-to-kitchen dishes & craft cocktails out of our ‘from scratch only’ kitchen and bar. Microwave? Never heard of it. We use slow-cooking methods on our live-wood grill, smoker, and spit because food just tastes better that way.
We believe that local is a place as much as it is a way of eating. Everything on our menu is infused with and inspired by the local ingredients available each season.
And all this goodness is served to you as you kick your feet up in the lounge, dine at a fancy table or relax out on the patio.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant and it wont be our last.. From the minute we enter4ed we had a wonderful experience. We were greeted warmly and escorted to our table right away.. Our sever came quickly and was very attentive throughout the meal. The manager came over as well to introduce himself and ask how everything was. When he found out that t\it was our first time visiting he comped the whiskey cake.Boy, it did not disappoint. \\ Thank you Whiskey Cake for a very pleasant dining experience. We will be back. PS I had the tavern burger which was delicious and my husband had the chicken and waffles which he enjoyed as well.

Great eating experience both times I’ve been. Food is phenomenal. Bone in pork chops are the best I’ve ever had as well as the Brussels sprouts.

Thank you for adding the Tavern Burger. It's nice to have a great burger without all the other stuff added. The wait staff has always been great and helpful. I have easily been there 30 times since the opening, and it was a business lunch for my first visit. Been there for a few brunches too.

For my first time at Whiskey Cake the food was very good but was very disappointed with our Waiter. He was not friendly at all and looked very annoyed when we would ask for something. We saw him twice once when he took our order and when he gave us our check. Was not impressed at all. Not sure if I will be back. It was a party of 9 celebrating a coworkers birthday and it was not a great impression.

This was our first visit to Whiskey Cake in Round Rock. We met 3 other couples and were seated in an area where we could really talk and laugh and kick back. Service was super! Food delicious. Ambiance perfect. We'll be back and we highly recommend!

We had the shrimp and grits and chicken sandwich. Very good even though it could have done without the ham the restaurant was very nice and clean! We made a reservation on open table and were seated right away.

Overall great experience. Drinks were outstanding. Recommend the Irish flight if you like whiskey. The whiskey cake for dessert is not to be missed, but ask for extra spoons.
