Whiskey & Seaweed, an intimate and stylish cocktail bar, is nestled within the restaurant. The ambiance was elegant. The drinks were excellent. The “bar snacks” were very sophisticated and delicious. Everything was beyond our expectations!

The ambiance and experience was great but the drinks seemed to be trying too hard, and they were ok but not spectacular. We tried two of the snacks and they were fine but not exceptional, as one would expect - they lacked an impact in terms of flavor.

If you find yourself unable to snag a reservation at Core - like us - having cocktails and bar snacks at Whiskey & Seaweed was a great alternative. We tried all of the canapes and multiple cocktails. All the food, drinks and service were top notch.

The cocktails were all simply perfect. They were totally outstanding. The food was simply unbelievable and very much makes us want to dine in the main restaurant. The bar was very smart with world class service . We would highly recommend this place.

Fantastic but at the start waiter was very dismissive as we felt they looked at me and my elderly mum as if we should note there but did thaw eventually Don't judge a hook by the cover !!!!

The canapes justify their prices by being complete examples of the three-rosette cuisine of the main restaurant, requiring a lot of work and providing complex flavours. Service was very personable. The only problem was the volume of the ‘music’ – but it is a bar.
