We’re so excited to bring Whalers to Bay Shore and share our love of amazing food and great drinks with the community. Our menu is modern American cuisine, so you’ll find the classics that you’re used to but with our own little spin. In addition to our casual dining and nightlife, we also offer full catering services. With huge windows and views of the Great South Bay, Whalers will be the perfect location to host your next event!

We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but we cannot guarantee where you will be seated. Additionally, reservations are unavailable for dockside dining, as outdoor tables are first come first serve.

Whalers is modern and fresh with a nod to what it’s like growing up on the Great South Bay. Located right in the middle of the action down on Maple Ave, we are looking forward to getting customers who live locally, but also those who are heading over to Fire Island.

Amazing wait staff .. delicious food .. artisan cocktails .. beautiful views on the outside deck & indoor dining area comfortably casual . It’s the complete package for a day or night out 🙃

First time at Whaler's, and everything was outstanding. The food was delicious, service wonderful and the ambience was just lovely. We chose to eat outside, and the view on the water was delightful, although we look forward to going back and experiencing the inside which is beautifully decorated. We also saw the upstairs level, which looks perfect for events or even weddings. So happy to experience this great place!

Phenomenal food, the staff was incredible. The coconut espresso martini is a must. Sit outside. You won’t be disappointed.

I've enjoyed many different meals and never been disappointed. The servers are attentive and very helpful. There are many places to eat in Bayshore but Whalers is easily my favorite. The outside bartender, Matt, makes an excellent coconut Margherita. If it's cold outside, dine upstairs. The view is beautiful.

Didn’t love being sat outside without asking. The smell of the tide was not ideal.

Salmon came undercooked twice! We usually have a good experience here but was not acceptable. They did comp the dish but we were not happy with the quality control of the food.
