Our mission is to source the region’s best seafood and seasonal produce by partnering with like-minded suppliers.

Our commitment to locality and our selection of produce flows into everything we offer; from Hastings River Oysters to Urban Grain bread and pastries.

We aim to showcase these ingredients by preparing them carefully and serving them simply.

The food was exquisite! Fresh seafood, professionally cooked to perfection. Superb views from our table by the window. What amazing flavours , mouth watering mains, sauces and sides. WOW! 🤩

Lovely spacious space. Food was not the run of the mill fish and chips. Gorgeous sides and the fish was excellent. Very happy and will definitely be back again. Fairly expensive but you get what you pay for and this was just perfect.

Our waiter was extremely helpful in helping us decide what and how much to purchase. He was friendly and approachable and made us feel very comfortable.

The service from two of the young adies and the long-serving male waiter was excellent. And the water views made the overall experience top notch. However, the food portion sizes seem to be getting less and less. It seemed like the salmon portion was a half to a third of a full fillet. And the sides didn't male for a full main meal. I understand the operating costs are increasing for all businesses, but the value for money is questionable at WW. Nevertheless, the top service and views saved the special occasion!

The Whalebone has a lovely atmosphere and the service is very good. It is quite expensive and overrated in my opinion. The lobster mornay was nice but no where near as good as the one we had there previously. Oysters are ridiculously overpriced and the side dishes are drenched in oil and not particularly noteworthy. I don’t think we will go there again.

Had a lovely lunch, the price is up there, for what I could usually afford but for a special occassion it's a great place to go. The service was great and the food was beautiful. We tried a couple of different dishes and them , very nice. Looking out over the water just completed the special lunch. thank you

The whole experience was amazing. Food was beautifully cooked and presented. Staff were so friendly, couldn't have been more attentive. Our out of town guests were thrilled with the venue, staff and food

If you are looking for Fresh Seafood in the Port Macquarie area, THEN, make a reservation at Whalebone Wharf Restaurant.....................YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Staff are very friendly, the service is outstanding AND both the Menu & Wine List are delightful. Highly recommend a Table by the window.

The outlook at Whalebone is to die for. The staff is friendly but they need a lot more training for the price you pay. I felt obliged to leave a tip but probably shouldn't have. The food was nice but I found it hard to choose a meal because there wasn't much choice. Would I go again mmmm maybe not. Very pricey but you pay for the view. It was a Sat, and not many people were there. The table we were given was for four people there were only two of us & it felt awkward. We would have asked for a better table but thought they were booked, so didn't bother. They weren't...
