   westoak was great! only thing was when we asked for the portion size we were told they were small, so we all ordered individual mains all for the portions to be pretty big

   Not much bad to say about this restaurant. We anrrived early and managed to order on Happy Hour which was a bonus. Our service was great, food was tasty, my only criticism is that their advertised ‘triple-cooked’ fries were soggy. Was looking forward to crispy chips with creamy centre and they were a disappointment. Requested extra-crispy and they were still a flop. We shared the mussels, carpaccio, and prawns. Mussels were good but meat in them was small. Carpaccios was delicious as were the prawns

   Second visit to West Oaks and both times have been very good. Service from reception to our server were excellent. We felt like valued customers. Food was good and market priced. Happy hour prices good also. Will definitely be back!

   Had a lovely time. The food was excellent. The chinois prawns were incredible. Good portion sizes and spacious seating. Highly recommend.

   We went to WestOak to celebrate a birthday brunch on Family Day. Our waiter was excellent. He helped with our choices, telling us how things were cooked and taking our orders sans some ingredients. The portions were on the bigger size which was good for the hungry. We all had a different entree, Avocado Toast, Yaletown Breakfast, Steak & Eggs, Crispy Chicken Sandwich. All meals were rated a 10. We will definitely be back.

   Noah, our server, was amazing. He would be the reason I go back there. Sure, the smoked salmon benedict my friend and I ordered was pretty decent, but there was nothing spectacular or unique about it. I really did enjoy the $12 Pick Me Up with the little twist Noah offered. Hope to see him next time!

   Went here for a Valentine's Day dinner with my wife. Surprisingly, Dine Out was still happening, a week after its end date. We enjoyed the experience! The server was very nice and attentive which was great The food we got was excellent! The salad and prawns were delicious. Our mains were the salmon and the lamb shank. Both were great as well. The salmon was cooked perfectly with its crispy skin and not being dry. The lamb shank was fall off the bone tender. The desserts we selected were the cookies and cheesecake. Both were great as well. The cookies were definitely freshly baked. They were still moist and warm. The cheesecake was thick but not overly thick which is great. We definitely would recommend this place for anyone wanting to have a romantic date.
