Food was great, only concern is, the chinese broccolli that comes with the roasted chicken entree was a bit undercooked, it was still a bit hard to eat. everything else was great! Pomodoro pasta was tasty as well, wishing the pasta itself was a bit more al dente, it was a bit overcooked BEST CALAMARI(perfectly cooked, super tender!) BY FAR FROM ALL OTHER RESTAURANTS!

Loved the fish of the day dish - Halibut. Such a nice vibe in this restaurant, great wine list and delicious food. A Yaletown staple.

I recently dined at WestOak, and the experience was fantastic. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed. But the highlight was the halibut, which was life-changing. Cooked to perfection, it was crispy on the outside and tender inside, with a sauce that enhanced its natural flavors. Every bite was a delight. If you’re looking for exceptional food and service, WestOak is a must-visit!

Excellent food and upbeat ambience and vibes without being noisy. Sat in the patio as it was a pleasantly mild day and shared a few starters and the Sablefish salad with my wife. Service was a little slow but not improper. Adjacent tables appeared to be having a better experience with this aspect of the restaurant. We will return as the food and ambience were excellent.
