Our waiter was great, she knew the menu, she offered her opinion on her favorite dishes and she was attentive! The food was great! Steak cooked to perfection, everything was aesthetically pleasing and the presentation of each dish was delightful! The cocktails were tastly as well, we tried the sandia and the tamarindo! We had the skirt steak and the ribeye, along with the mashed potatoes and for the appetizer, we had the pulpo and a type of ceviche but made with beef instead of fish.

Interesting concept with all the black color. Service was great and the food was delicious. The cocktails were very nice. Fabulous tres leches cake. Pricey but worth it

The steaks were phenomenal.. it’s in the local neighborhood but the food quality is similar to top restaurants in the inner city. The food focuses on authentic flavors from Mexico incorporated even into the drinks. Definitely going back! The only item I would suggest is track lighting to match the ambiance but allow people to read the menus- however our server was extremely knowledgeable about recommendations and each suggestion was spot on. The tomahawk 32oz was less expensive than the top steakhouses but it was on par with how it was prepared and presented as . they brought it hot off the grill with thyme branch in the middle of the steak on fire (for presentation) which was fun to watch ..and they personally sliced it for us. The crust and flavors on the meat were outstanding . It was perfect. The side dishes were also bursting with such wonderfully combined flavors that you normally do not experience at a steakhouse. You can dress business casual which is nice after a long day at work. The drinks I recommend are Remolacha and La Tamarinda.. so delicious.

The food and service were very good. We started with empanadas, and they were excellent! My husband had a steak and I had the half chicken. We added mashed potatoes and street corn on the cob. Quality of the entrees were very good, but portions are small with the exception of the steak. Desserts are excellent - we had Tres leches cake and chocolate mousse cake. We had eine ny the glass and tne portions seemed small and the specialty cocktail ($22) came in a glass with a huge ice cube which took up 90% of the glass and made it hard to drink. The chairs are very comfortable. The lights on each table to offset the black on black interior take up valuable room on small tables. Menu font should be increased to at least 12 pt as it is very difficult to read even under the table lamp. Service was very good, but we found staff way too eager to take away plates before we were ready. Plates are not smooth and may be made with some metallic glass finish which makes a grating sound when you use a knife and fork on it. (Think of the sound of nails on a chalk board). This is definitely a special occasion place. Our meal with tax and tip cost $250.

Really hard to see in parts of the restaurant due to the lighting. Please print better menus.

We had an outstanding experience. The steak was cooked perfectly. Cerviche was incredible. Carne asada was also very good. Service was very genuine and attentive. What an amazing addition to the neighborhood. We will be back very soon and would strongly recommend!

Hi Richard thanks for your review. our prices are really good for the area, the limited menu we want to keep everything fresh, we can have a extended menu with more items but will be really hard to keep everything fresh same thing with the drinks the syrups are home made so we can keep the quality hope you can give us a other chance.
