The Wellesley Hotel & Restaurant is a fine dining establishment located in Thousand Island Park on the majestic St. Lawrence River, in New York.
Newly redecorated and updated, this beautiful establishment was built in 1903 and has the elegance and charm of that era with a modern updated twist.
The kitchen is run by Adrienne Cavallario, who is known for her globally inspired fare and has curated a menu that will delight all. A featured menu item is the Food and Wine Taste of Vail Award Winning Vietnamese Thit Kho.
The dining room serves dinners 5-9:30 and the romantic Lounge serves small plates and cocktails. Soft live jazz in the lounge is offered through July and August. And our Sunday Jazz Brunch from 11-2 will delight your every sense.
We also offer our "Speakeasy" downstairs Pub Wednesday - Saturday evenings 8 - 12 with live music and trivia nights.

Finally, a refreshing globally inspired spot to eat on the American side of the 1000 Islands. Chef Adrienne Sirianni-Cavallario has created several masterpieces on the limited but flavorful menu. Her attention to detail in each dish was wonderful. The quality and freshness of the ingredients is something not found anywhere else in the area. The Deconstructed Beef Wellington was prepared a perfect medium rare and combined wonderfully with the puff pastry and berry/wine reduction to make an amazing entre. The Spanish fish fry was equally as impressive with an amazingly light breading and flavorful tomato salsa. Service at this spot was top shelf on the night we dined there, and I noticed they were very attentive to all the customers. Overall, this spot is a must visit for customers looking for a high-end, well prepared meal that is unfortunately not available anywhere else on the island or American side of the river.

So so nice to have the hotel a vibrant part of the community! Nice jazz combo.. welcoming staff… great food.. wonderful time!

We requested Tammy as our server and she never disappoints. She's a rock star! The food is outstanding! The Chef is fabulous and came to our table to check on our meals. Just a great place for dinner!

The staff were generally professional and friendly; however, upon arrival, our server asked us if anyone in our party had any allergies. We responded that no one did, to which she replied, “Oh, you guys are GREAT!” This comment was particularly off putting when considering that some allergies are life threatening. The meal itself was also very disappointing. One item I ordered was the Upside Down Filo Tart. This dish was described as being comprised of filo dough, shallots, feta, and herbs. I received two large squares of what tasted like store bought pastry topped with large chunks of half raw shallots and what appeared to be a very small amount of a balsamic glaze (which had also been baked with the dish instead of used to finish it). One square had a glimmer of feta but it was so light I could not taste it in the finished dish. The other had no feta whatsoever. There were no herbs to be found on either piece of pastry. I also ordered the Thai Larb. Having eaten and cooked a great deal of Thai food over the years, I was looking forward to this dish. Unfortunately, it tasted of fish sauce and fish sauce alone. The chicken also appeared gray in color. The cost of this meal was significantly overpriced given what was served. I do understand that the restaurant recently reopened and am hopeful that, in time, the quality will be improved. That said, it will take a lot to bring me (or the others in my party) back for a return visit following our first impression.

It appears in this case, we failed. Our kitchen only uses the freshest and most natural ingredients, and serving top quality is our standard. I have heard what you have said and will certainly make any necessary changes to better our menu items that you mentioned. We hope you will try us again in the future. Thank you ~

Best meal on the St Lawrence River! And terrific service too. The deconstructed Beef Wellington was superb.

Amazing food, great cocktail and wine list, best service I’ve had at the restaurant in years. Very glad it has people running it this year who know what they are doing. I just hope the corp is good to them and they return in future years! (The music was loud and annoying, but as soon as staff noticed they solved the problem)

Sat on the porch on a lovely evening. Shared the scallion and filo appetizer. It was delicious. My wife enjoyed the pork shank (it was huge). I was a little surprised that my deconstructed Beef Wellington didn’t include mushroom duxelles, but I really enjoyed it. Our server told us the Tiramisu was the best she ever tasted. Having tasted a lot of them, I was skeptical, but she could be right. Despite a couple of breakdowns, the service was good. Overall a really enjoyable experience.

Tammy was our server and she was fabulous! The Chef was outstanding! 2 people in our party are vegan and she made vegan specials. Outstanding experience! Highly recommend!!! 5 stars!!!
