This was a wonderful experience. The staff were very professional , friendly and attentive. The food was well prepared , beautiful presentation and tasted great !!! Highly recommend a visit !!!!

The seafood bisque had little to no seafood. The Walleye was tasty, the sauce was very average. Risotto was not very good.

Excellent restaurant. We’ve been going there for 56 years! Went for our 56th anniversary.

Food was just ok. Table request made at reservation was not honored. Soup bowl was chipped with ceramic in the bowl. Crab cakes were overfried and dry. Requested extra sauce and never got it. Food came out at different times so some were finished before others started. Surrounded by tables with strollers and a lot of noisy kids watching tablets with volume up.

We love coming here and sitting on the patio. Always good food and service.

Our food was delicious, the server was appropriately attentive and the views of the Pine River channel were beautiful, even on a rainy evening. It was a wonderful evening with friends!

My husband and I were celebrating our 40th anniversary and I was looking forward to the planked whitefish. The chef already prepped all the whitefish in the kitchen with butter, and since I am lactose intolerant I couldn’t eat it. I was disappointed so we got up and left and we ate whitefish at a restaurant down the street for less money, but I missed the ambiance of the Weathervane. Our server and the hostess were apologetic, but I was extremely upset that a chef would make that mistake since many people have food allergies and intolerances.

It’s a lovely restaurant on the canal. The food was good, not great. We had the white fish which was a bit dry as were the potatoes. A bit overpriced for the quality.

The service was outstanding. The server was attentive and cheerful. The portions do not meet the high pricing. My husbands Mac n Cheese was cold. My salad was warm and the Caesar dressing was not good tasting. My son wanted another meal after he ate the steak frites. My mom enjoyed the walleye.
