WC Clapham is a wine and charcuterie bar situated in an Ex Victorian Water Closet adjoined to Clapham Common tube station.

Restoring the original features, the award winning design offers a quirky and intimate venue, a hidden bar offering guests rest and respite from the streets of London, perfect for date nights and catch ups with friends.

The considered drinks menu has something for everyone - be that a glass from the thoughtful, simple and eclectic wine list with 30 to choose from or a delicious signature cocktail. The accompanying food offering has been created to complement the drink selection. Charcuterie and cheese is sacred here, boards perfect for grazing and a selection of small plates with plentiful plant-based, dairy/gluten free options that cater to all dietary requirements.

Established 6 years ago WC Clapham is delighted to be Big Sister to WC Bloomsbury, WC no.2 that opened in May 2021.

Live acoustic music every Sunday from 7-9pm.

Not setup well for tables of 3. Either 2 or 4. Its a small place so no big bags or coats. Service - very friendly but slow. Wine - very nice selection. Food - standard boards. Would come again, but not on a Saturday night.

This is such amazing place it will surprise you. Everything was fantastic and not a my first time. Food, staff, atmosphere. I hidden secret hidden away. Book early. I travelled someway for this and always well worth it.

Hi Nicholas, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We actually remember your visit quite well, and we remember the events differently. We got you sat down quickly, you were given a full run through of the menu and we joked around while you picked. We even gave you several personal recommendations. Your drinks arrived in less than 3 minutes, and your charcuterie board shortly after which we serve with toast, so I believe you're mistaking the crunch from the toast as stale bread as we had received it fresh that morning. We asked if we could get you anything else, you said you were both very happy, and after 5 minutes when we were checking on your table, you asked the bill and left. We would have helped further if you let us, but there's always next time! Thanks again, WC Clapham

We had a lovely time last night - what a surprise! The food menu was a bit reduced due to oven issues but the atmosphere and the service where just great! Sam, the manager really know is stuff around wine and does go way above his way to provide you a very pleasant experience!

We had such a great time and will definitely be back. Service was exceptional, especially considering we had to change our reservation. Highly recommend the charcuterie board, and still thinking about the delicious baked camembert!

Love this bar and attend regularly. Slightly expensive and many people walking through just to use the WC with no comments or refusal from staff.
