WC Bloomsbury, Clapham's Sister venue continues the legacy of beguiling and bewitching spaces, descending from unassuming entrances on pedestrian level in an Ex Victorian Water Closet. Listed on Historic England’s 'buildings at risk register’ we have preserved and respected the 120 year old space, paying homage to the surrounding area’s rich history, creating a warm and inviting wine, cocktail and charcuterie bar.

The venue offers rest and respite from the streets of London, with a considered drinks menu that has something for everyone - be that a glass from the thoughtful and eclectic wine list with over 30 sold by the glass or from a list of 16 signature cocktails.

WC Bloomsbury’s food offering has been created to complement the drink selection. Charcuterie and cheese is sacred here: sharing boards & a selection of small plates - perfect for grazing, we have several plant based, gluten/dairy free options to cater for all dietary requirements.

Overall a fair experience, nothing to shout about, wouldn't be disappointed if I didn't go again.

I thought the food was only "okay" and very overpriced even for central London it was overpriced. The charcuterie tasted like it came from a standard supermarket like I might just buy at home. Service was again okay but I had to go up the bar to ask for cutlery then again for the bill. They apparently didn't have enough wine to sell us a bottle only a carafe. But the wine tasted very cheap but was on the menu at over £50 a bottle so I'm overall very underwhelmed by this place. Service charge on the bill then asked for additional tip!

Nice idea poor execution. The place is quirky and has a vibe but the staff is distracted, lot of chatting to each other very little service or check backs to the tables. A place that offers wine and charcuterie should definitely level up their game in providing good nibbles The “mixed board” was the worst we ever had. Barely any cheese, mostly 1 slice of 3 type of cheese sliced up to 3 small bits. It was laughable. 2 blueberries, a small half of a strawberry and two slices of spicy salami of a sort. This all was £28. We are not coming back there are so many great places in London.

This place is just the best for cocktails. Really friendly attentive bar staff who know how to mix a great drink and make for a really comfortable experience. I keep going back because I love it so much

This venue is nothing short of amazing. You start your journey down the steps of a typical Victorian WC but having descended your greeted by attentive and happy staff. You can still see what the space was originally intended for but it’s been cleverly designed to be a sultry bar with cool music and a cocktail list to die for. The food was so tasty and accompanied the drinks beautifully. We were celebrating our 25 year being together and it was a memorable night where we can’t wait to return.

Fabulous little gem !! Old Victorian toilet transformed into a gorgeous cosy bar. Very warm welcome from lovely friendly staff. Food not on the generous portion size - all very nice but quite expensive. Overall well worth a visit. Just don’t visit hungry !!

Such a cool little bar and something that we were really looking forward to as having done some research about the venue prior to our reservation. We were sat is a lovely booth with so much space with first round of cocktails and food coming quite quickly. We ordered a second round of cocktails of which the bartender let us know there would be a small wait due to a large group having also just ordered. That was fine and happy to wait given the communication. The large group was quite loud and did change the atmosphere but its a bar and expected. We got these and ordered a 3rd round of cocktails as the second round arrived to allow for more possible delays given the large group. We waited and waited, the bartender came over and let us know that the next round was on the house given the long delay. Still waiting about 30 minutes later same bartender came back and said they needed the table back in 10 minutes of which I let him know that we were still waiting for the last round of cocktails. note at least 45 minutes since ordered He went over to the bar and promptly came back saying sorry they dont have the ingredients for the cocktails we ordered and handed us the bill. It was very disappointing and we left with a poor taste given we were waiting on their service and then told to leave, the cocktails on the house were not deducted from the bill and were seemingly pushed out the door for the next reservation. I understand when its busy that things get missed but the constant communication and updates was reassuring up unitl the very end. This place would have been an amazing night if the service had of kept up with the standard of the venue
