WC Bloomsbury, Clapham's Sister venue continues the legacy of beguiling and bewitching spaces, descending from unassuming entrances on pedestrian level in an Ex Victorian Water Closet. Listed on Historic England’s 'buildings at risk register’ we have preserved and respected the 120 year old space, paying homage to the surrounding area’s rich history, creating a warm and inviting wine, cocktail and charcuterie bar.

The venue offers rest and respite from the streets of London, with a considered drinks menu that has something for everyone - be that a glass from the thoughtful and eclectic wine list with over 30 sold by the glass or from a list of 16 signature cocktails.

WC Bloomsbury’s food offering has been created to complement the drink selection. Charcuterie and cheese is sacred here: sharing boards & a selection of small plates - perfect for grazing, we have several plant based, gluten/dairy free options to cater for all dietary requirements.

Friendly staff, great wine, and a unique setting. Prices are very good for London. Food was surprisingly great, the cheese and charcuterie board is excellent.

Quite a novel experience eating in a Victorian public toilet. Not that comfortable (the booths might be better) as we sat perched up high. Food is simple but no complaints there. Drinks are good. Great place to drop into but not somewhere you'd spend overly long at.

Cute spot - slightly too dimly lit but overall nice. Great servers and good service. Prices are ok, portion sizes for food a bit smaller than expected.

This is one of my favorite bars, especially when I want to surprise out off town visitors with an unusual location. They always love it. The staff, service, and food are great. I'll be back... again!

Expensive. Poor value for money. Roasted potatoes £10 actually steamed soft. Tiny portions and not good

Weird. I took a friend there for some wine and a bite to eat. I came first and sat down on a very wobbly seat. There was no reception so I asked for a wi-fi password to contact my friend, but was told their wi-fi wasn’t working. Miraculously, the card machine worked fine. 3 different waitresses came to ask if we were ready to order while we were having a 5 minute catch up so it felt like we were being a bit rushed. We ordered a mixed board which was a joke for what it cost and if you have ever had good quality meat and cheese abroad you will know what I mean. £80 later we were happy to leave and go elsewhere. Never again.

Waitress didn’t seem interested, and didn’t seem alert or awake to providing a service. Got given the wrong wine bottle which presented the incorrect bill. I much prefer the WC in Clapham, normally they also a musician and bit of live music there

Booked here as a treat for my younger sister as it’s her favourite restaurant since moving to London (and mine!). The service was lovely & friendly, the food & cocktails were delicious & the ambience was perfect as always. Thank you for another great evening :)

Good value for money. The staff is very friendly. The wine list is vast. Cheese, almonds, and hummus were delicious.
