Went for food and drinks for my birthday with a few friends. Staff were lovely, really friendly. Food was amazing and drinks went down nicely. Can't wait to go back for the lighter warmer evenings and sit on the terrace outside.

Great food, have eaten here several times now, quite busy, loads of seating & tables. Busy kitchen staff, not kept waiting too long for our order to arrive….but there were only two staff members at the front of house, so upon our early arrival we were kept waiting to be seated for more than 15 minutes after our booked table time…..but again, not long to wait for our order to arrive, and it was very good and worth the waiting! Thank you all for your hard work and overall attentive service.

Lovely restaurant with the best pizzas and burgers. Great selection of drinks from wines to beer. The staff were lovely and provided great service the entire time.

We really enjoyed a festive meal at WAX today. I love Watergate Bay and parking was free as it was out of season...bonus...nice beach walk with dog...bonus...then on to WAX where staff were friendly, food was scrumptious and atmosphere warm and welcoming x thank you, we are looking forward to our next visit xXx

We visited in the summer and had a terrible experience in terms of wait time and the staff, however we decided to return because the food was delicious. It was obviously A LOT quieter considering its winter, and the food arrived promptly. Staff friendly enough but their customer service could be improved. I.e table service and manners. Food tasted nice and not too badly priced.

Superb service by the guy I presume was the manager and by the young waitress. Instant service, very friendly and polite and food delivered piping hot within 15 minutes. We’ve used WAX and The Phoenix as it was previously for 35 years, tonight’s service was probably the best ever. Top marks all round and thanks for such pleasant and professional service to you both, Cheers from Mick and Carolyn.
