Hidden away on the beach with stunning panoramic waterfront views, Waves Restaurant offers an amazingly picturesque dining experience.
As a restaurant, it is just perfect for casual group meals, a romantic dinner for two or for a more elaborate wedding – for which they are very well known. Their interior has an easy, coastal feel with comfortable furniture, letting the ocean take centre stage. With glassed walls allowing the maximums views of the ocean in front of you, the feeling of dining by the sea is as real as it gets.
Their team of chefs have created a seasonal and mouth-watering menu that complements the relaxed, seaside feel of the venue. There are also delicious vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options and a daily specials board. The wine list is also generous in its diversity with sulphate-free, organic wines available as well as delicious local and interstate wines. There is plenty of paid parking right outside their door and they are open 7 days for lunch &

Always a good atmosphere ! Food is very good and helpful to my husband who needed a gluten free meal but carbohydrates for diabetes!

excellent meal . I had the small plate choice and it was more than enough food , it was a very busy lunch seating but we didn't feel rushed by the staff and they were quick to come to serve us

Fabulous lunch by the Bay in Frankston! We all enjoyed beautiful meals, great service and atmosphere. I popped in a note when booking as it was my birthday and they delivered with the perfect table & view. I thought it was quiet busy for a Wed lunch, created a great environment, not too quiet or loud. I ordered the Lamb Curry which came out hot, delicious meat served with rice, yummy salad, mini naans & dip. So so good! Other guests enjoyed the Chicken Scallopini, Fish & Chips and Arancini Balls. We'll be back. Thank you! :)

Birthday lunch for 8 and a 1/4. the service was outstanding very prompt and there when you needed them. Food was delish and all on time for such a big table. tapas are the way to go if you can't decide on a main as they are quite large and again super yummy. Would recommend Waves as a great place to have a bite then and stroll on the beach right out the front.

I had asked for a window table in my booking, when i got there i was told that was for larger groups (4 or more) then she said bookings of two have ro sit in the booths. I said i was not happy with this and she replied well thats it. Very disappointed on a Wednesday lunch i couldnt make a request.

No complaints here! Service good, meals great & quite large. Paid parking was a bit of a pain however minor thing.

Extensive and diverse menu. Delicious, flavoursome meals and drinks. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fully booked (large groups), making the noise level a little high and so not as pleasurable a dining experience as enjoyed on previous visit. Ours was a special occasion booking and the designated table was a bit disappointing - not relaxing, felt cramped/perchy, ocean view blocked by large pillar and stacked furniture on balcony. It won't stop us trying once again in future, as the restaurant is lovely when quieter. More intimate.
