Really delicious meal, the flavours were amazing. We had vegetarian share plates. The service was great, very friendly. Easy to book. Highly recommended if you like Japanese food or want to try it.

Always a delight to visit Watts River Cafe in Healesville. Can become busy so best to book. Small menu although has a lot of options to suit most tastes. Friendly staff.

Dined with a party of six on a friday evening, japanes cuisine, very enjoyable, at a very reasonable price. Friendly and professional staff.

Very disappointed as we were seated outside on a 10 degree night and it was freezing. They did put a gas heater on in one corner once we arrived but it only warmed three people on the table. The blinds were closed part way. There weren’t enough wine glasses and we regularly had to walk in the restaurant to order extra food. It made a birthday celebration very disappointing and we were all so cold we just wanted to leave. We chose this restaurant over others in healesville as we are regular guests. If they didn’t have seating capacity inside they should have told us and we would have dined elsewhere. The young person serving us was not at all engaged and spent all her time in the restaurant apart from when we first arrived.

The teriyaki salmon was amazing. I recommend this cafe when you’re in Healesville.
