Waters Edge Winery & Bistro – Richmond is a family-owned winery in the center of the booming suburbs of Richmond, TX near Aliana, Harvest Green and Waterview Estates. We specialize in making eco-friendly, international wines – Locally! Our tasting room is open six days a week to provide a warm, inviting environment to enjoy spending time with friends and neighbors. We offer wine tastings from our large selection of varietals, charcuterie and cheese boards, bistro entrees and gift items. Join our wine club and reap the benefits of being a member. Two of our guest favorite wines are Mississippi Blues Man and Social Distance.

We chose this Black-owned winery as the location for our 2024 Election Watch Party. So glad we did, the ambience was superb! Our host & waiter, Jordan, was fantastic. He happily obliged us when we asked if we could turn the TV to view coverage of the election. All the food & wine we ordered was amazing! I had the BYO flatbread pizza with green olives, mushrooms, and pepperoni. The sauce was amazing & very cheesy just like I like it. My husband had a Cajun shrimp pasta dish, which he really enjoyed. We also ordered 2 different Premium Pick 3 Flights. Our first order included the Mississippi Blues Man, G'Day Mate, and The Diplomat, and the second order was for the Sunset, Social Distance, and Flight Like A Girl. Although I don't prefer sweet wines, Fight Like A Girl, was a good choice, as it light and landed well on the palette. Our friends ordered the the small charcuterie board, which was more than enough to share. They also had the salmon & spinach risotto and the steak & risotto. The risotto looked like it was cooked to perfection (not an easy feat) as did their steak and salmon, which some restaurants tend to overcook. They ordered the same flights we did with the exception of the Moscato which they replaced with another Social Distance. Overall, a great atmosphere & food and the wine selection was excellent! Thank you & we will definitely be back.

This is the third time we’ve gone to this restaurant to dine for the expressed purpose enjoying the catfish (previously enjoyed there). It was yet another disappointment (but not a surprise) for us to find out they were out of catfish at 745pm. They were also out of ice tea and Dr Pepper. We decided to depart and try another restaurant.

Well where do I start… I was in Houston visiting family for the weekend and I was excited to try Waters Edge, nice quaint place so I had high hopes, our waiter was very pleasant, however I was taking back at how slow the food came out and it was not hot more like room temperature. The wine however was amazing. I am a little disappointed about the $10 cover charge and the 18% gratuity that was added on top of the meal, I had the jerk chicken tenders (lacked seasoning and overcooked) with a waffle (I’ve tasted better). This place came recommended by family butI’m not sure if I would return. Also: Unless I missed it when I made the reservation on Open Table there should have been a mention of the $10 cover and that the 18% was going to be added!

Excellent service with a great and professional Waite staff. This was our third visit and service has always been great. We will continue to come back again and again. Excellent service is a reflection of its owners. Keep up the great work.

Great Friday night dinner and wine with family. The service was great and the Joe Carmouche band was grooving too! A little loud but my sangria flights were excellent along with my shrimp cocktail and catfish. We will visit again really soon!

Service was great. Everyone was friendly and attentive, but there’s a lot of room for improvement with regards food especially salmon and ribeye, to be specific.

A great place to meet friends and family. The owners are very nice and it’s a community vibe. Food is delicious.
