We are currently open Wednesday through Sunday from 12 p.m. - 9 p.m. We will be closed for an exclusive event on June 27, and will resume full summer hours June 28 forward.

Perched on the shores of Lake Joseph, The Water's Edge Wine Bar and Grill welcomes you to a world of delectable food, fine wines and spectacular scenery. Home to a world class patio overlooking beautiful Lake Joseph, and an indoor dining room providing equally stunning views.

With parking for 50+ boats and a massive parking lot - there's plenty of room to park stress free. No overnight boat parking. Park at your own risk.

                                  What a gorgeous environment, on the patio or indoors, overlooking Lake Joseph. The arancini was absolutely delicious - wonderfully balanced flavours, texture, and the sauce was the perfect finishing touch. Main course trout portion was so generous that the leftover takeaway served as my dinner the next night. Seared tuna was cooked just right. Margaritas (one lime, one watermelon) were nice and short with fresh juices for lots of flavour.

                                  As a long time cottager and patron of Water’s Edge it saddens me to write this. Reservation for 8pm Saturday, arrived to a hand full of cars in parking lot. Seated at lovely window table of our choice, noted maybe 7/8 parties. After a number of minutes tried to make eye contact with a server for water and wine list! Noted time and waited 18 minutes … nothing. My blood boiling we got up quietly headed to door, was asked how our evening was … I exploded f___ing awful I said. She said please let me get a manager, who stood at a distance and offered a free appetizer. I decided to cut my losses and went back to the restaurant we had been the night before (Friday) and in fact went back again Sunday. Note: As a single man that is culinary challenged I frequent restaurants from Gravenhurst to Rosseau without much concern over price but enjoy sharing the experience with family and friends. I’m sorry to say I won’t go near The Water’s Edge for a very long time. 😭

                                  We know it was the opening weekend but it wasn’t busy. The service was slow and the menu is very limited and extremely overpriced. We ordered the pork tomahawk and it came under cooked. There was no “we will take that off your bill” and it took forever to get it cooked more. It was a 400 plus meal and we will not be back. We’re locals and love coming every summer it’s a great outdoor experience.

                                  Manager was contacted day before and given credit card to cover dinner as well as a bottle of wine was preordered for my parent’s anniversary. Zero follow through after phone call and an email. Incompetent to say the least. Would not recommend.

                                  Food and service very good. We had a reservation inside but then asked to eat outside near the water. That request was accommodated but after 15 minutes we found we were cold. When we asked to go inside they denied our request. They said that they were full and we couldn’t go indoors even though we saw empty tables until we were finished our meal.
