We always enjoy our dinners at Waterfront. From the moment one enters, the sophistication and decor draws one to be prepared for the excellence to continue. Every dish that has been served to me there has been par excellence. Last night’s WA Blue Eye was encased in a delicate batter and cooked to succulent perfection. The pommes frites are fried to just the right shade of light tan - not those pale limp straw coloured examples that constitute chips at other, lesser establishments. I would go so far as to say that Waterfront is the stand-out in the Bayside area.

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary on Tuesday at Waterfront. The staff were lovely and the food was great. They even gave us a complimentary champagne.

We had a great table and the atmosphere was pleasant. Perfect for date night. The only let down of this experience was due to the service. Unfortunately this was slow. We had to remind our server of a drink we had ordered multiple times and it still arrived incorrect. We also ordered wines and requested these arrive with mains but they arrived with our entrees. Sadly it felt as if our server didn’t pay attention to us.

Amazing lunch. Waterfront restaurants are one of my favourites and always delicious with great service. It was my first time at Brighton and I definitely go back

We had lunch for anniversary and chose the express lunch menu three course. Nice fresh seafood cooked to perfection. Thanks chef… the service was good aswell. Definitely recommend!

Our evening, for seven, began as my booking was not on the computer despite the fact that it had been confirmed twice. I was able to show this on my phone to the maitre'd. He eventually found us a table because of a cancellation and did apologize. On a positive note, the food was excellent and received very happy responses from everyone. Our waitress left a lot to be desired with her very brusque manner and sloppy service. A pleasant evening generally but a little disappointing as my previous experiences have been very different.
