   watercolor never disappointed me, I have been there for 3 times and try out different food, they are all amazing. And the staffs there are so nice and friendly, one of the top options for celebrating, holiday and dating . Highly recommend!

   I recently visited Watercolour Fine Dining in Markham to celebrate my wife’s birthday with a party of four. While the restaurant has been a favorite of mine in the past, this experience left me feeling quite disappointed. Let me start with the positives. The ambience was, as always, exceptional. The elegant and intimate setting made the evening feel special, which was perfect for a birthday celebration. The service was also top-notch—attentive, professional, and friendly. The staff went out of their way to make my wife feel celebrated, which we truly appreciated. However, the food was a letdown. Compared to my previous visits, the dishes were underwhelming. The flavors were muted, and everything felt overly oily, which detracted from the overall dining experience. It was surprising, as I’ve had memorable meals here before. This inconsistency made me wonder if there’s been a change in the kitchen, perhaps a new chef or a shift in the culinary direction. While the ambience and service still make Watercolour a standout choice for special occasions, the food this time around didn’t live up to expectations. I hope this was just an off night and not a permanent change, as I’d love to see the restaurant return to its former culinary excellence. For now, I’d recommend the restaurant for its atmosphere and service, but with caution regarding the food. Rating: 3/5 (based on this visit).

   It was such a wonderful experience we had this evening, from food to ambience. We enjoyed looking up to a high ceiling. Hospitality was also over our expectation. Overall rating is the top.

   Watercolour is amazing. Service is on point, food is excellent, fresh & hot, and ambiance is beautiful. One of our favourites! Zucchini chips and fried calamari-wonderful, chicken thighs with chorizo-spectacular, and the special was linguini with Portuguese clams-mouth watering. If you haven’t tried it, you need to. Won’t be disappointed!

   Great dining experience in Unionville From the service and location this is a unique dining experience north of the city. It's great to see a chef bringing modern and fine dining experiences to this part of the city. So far almost everything I had here was very good and some items are exceptional. Steak was perfectly cooked. Lamb was excellent Feta salad was a classic with an original twisted. Appetizers are on the pricey side at $30-40 each. Mains are priced fair. Typically between $40-90 each. Service is not consistent as we had some exceptional staff and some average. Highly recommended for the area.

   First time there, really enjoyed our experience. Quality of food was excellent. Service was also excellent. Loved the octopus App and Calamari. Would like to see a bigger range of wine, you should offer wines in the $50 range. Other than that we would return .

   Excellent porterhouse and seafood platter. The coconut cream pie was excellent.
