Waterbar will serve a 4-course pre-fixed menu for dinner, Chef Josh selected his favorite seasonal and celebratory offerings for the menu! $195 per person (exclusive of 20% gratuity, 5.5% SF mandates surcharge, and 8.625% sales tax). Beverages are charged on consumption. We have two seatings available: the first seating from 5:45p.m.- 6:30p.m. and the second seating from 7:00p.m.- 9:00p.m. Please note, there is a 2.25 hour dining limit on the first seating. (Lunch reservations from 11:30am-1:45 pm will order from our a la carte lunch menu)

Just OUTSTANDING! We came here on our anniversary and were treated amazingly. A nice card, champagne and very attentive service. The food and drinks were excellent and everything tasted so fresh. Will definitely be coming back here.

We celebrated our city hall wedding with lunch at Waterbar Restaurant and it was perfect from start to finish. Welcomed with champagne, we felt instantly celebrated. The chef’s oysters, cheese and bread plate, and every dish on the menu were exceptional. They even surprised us with special treats for dessert, making our day feel truly unique. Incredible food, thoughtful service, and a memorable experience—highly recommend!

Our server was amazing and treated our table of 3 well; had a great time for an early birthday dinner and definitely would recommend their oysters!

Dinner for 4 a success all around, in general. First, all of our entrees (with accompaniments) were a hit: the black cod, the tuna, and the whole pompano (split between 2) (VERY rich). Entrees change quarterly so check the menu beforehand. For starters the Squid Noodles was the standout. If you like calamari and garlic, and if they’re on the menu*, get them! Lobster bisque good (very rich & salty). Kale/beet salad fresh & had a ‘kick’ (a little overpowering ‘kick’ even though I personally like ‘spicy’). Oysters fresh and good (but value??? maybe not so much). *Again check menu in advance: I was looking forward to the clam chowder which got rave reviews online but apparently the appetizers change “frequently “. Our waiter was fun (in a good way!), ambiance nice, noise level LOUD (aren’t all restaurants loud these days?) but not on a “bomb” 💣 level. Location GREAT. Not a bad choice for a Saturday night dinner (when you’re not counting pennies). Would go back for the squid noodles (if they’re on the menu). PS: Wine… we brought our own; corkage $35/bottle.

The Waterbar has a lot going for it. Location, ambience and menu selections. However on this Saturday evening, the hostess initially attempted to seat my party at a table next to a young family with two little children. Let’s just say they were at the age of crying and screaming. A hostess/host should know better at an upscale restaurant, not to seat other guests nearby. I had to request another location which was accommodated. While our server introduced himself and asked about water for the table, he then immediately asked about drinks. We had just been seated, with no time to settle in or peruse our tables the wine list. Not proper timing. He then asked if we had any questions about the menu as well as highlighted a baked whole halibut with kimchi salad. We ordered some starters, but it felt as if the server was trying to upsell us on other additional dishes as well with our entrees. The halibut arrived later, on a platter, and was filleted at the table. The halibut skin was over salted, as well as the kimchi salad. We had to keep ordering more water. The fish meat itself was tender and moist. Desserts were made exceptional. Overall, it the waiters need to be briefed on fine dining procedures and the kitchen staff need to lay off of the salt!!!!

We love this place! The ambience was nice. The food was amazing. Our server, Woody, was the best! He helped us with food, wine and dessert! Next time we are in town we are definitely visiting again!!

Every experience at Waterbar is different for me. Every experience is also exceptional. Last night was truly amazing. My entree was the miso glazed cod. It may be the best piece of fish I've ever eaten. It tasted buttery and sweet at the same time. The skin was perfection. It was also served over a bed of black rice, something I've never had before. I hope to have it again. What an amazing dish overall. Even the turnips were great. When you add on the kale and beet salad, the bread, and the wine, it made for an incredible meal and a wonderful evening with friends. Oh, I also can't forget the butternut squash cake. One more incredible dessert to top it all off. We also had Cesar as our server. He could not have been more helpful or wonderful. The service is also exceptional on every visit.

We had an amazing server named Stephen! He was awesome! Although he was stretched, he made us feel like we were the center of the restaurant’s universe! Wonderful staff all the way around. Great experience!!

we asked for the dry aged porterhouse among the fishes orders which was extremely overpriced and hard!!! did not seem dryaged at all. also, we were charged for french fries that never arrived. a restaurant SHOULD NOT reserve for 9pm when their kitchen closes at 9pm. we felt rushed to eat and all our orders (appetizers and entrees) arrived alltogether which was not cool at all.
