Requested a table for 11, got a table set up for 10. Kids ordered off the kids menu - salmon with seasonal vegetables. Kids were so excited to hear it was zucchini. 30 min later a female waitress comes to say she only has enough zucchini for 1 person. We decide to split that zucchini between the 2 plates and supplement with mashed potatoes. 15 minutes later a male waiter comes to say the same, not enough zucchini. I tell him someone came earlier to discuss this and relayed what was said. He comes back minutes later to say he doesn’t know who I spoke with but she was wrong. No zucchini available at all. Kids are extremely disappointed and settle on the rainbow carrots and mashed potatoes. Food comes and as expected, they don’t touch it. They didn’t really touch the salmon either. Flavorless food! I had salmon too and was equally disappointed. The curry sauce helped but there was barely any on my plate to dip into. Others at our table weren’t pleased either but what can you do but accept it? We had high hopes for this spot. I use to come here often and talked it up big only to be let down. Sooo many other places we could have gone and enjoyed. Noted for future and will obviously share with others. Driving over and hour from San Diego and same from LA- not worth it! Thanks but no thanks!

Our favorite get together spot for reunion with high school friends. Miso black cod with soba noodles is so good. Best dish hands down. Loved our time there.

Our server, Josh was on his game, and made sure we got dinner finished prior to leaving for the concert we were attending that evening. Josh took the time to go through the menu and brought all the courses out in a good sequence. He also kept some leftovers in the refrigerator for us until we could circle back after the concert and pick them up. It doesn’t get much better than that.

We sat at the bar and had tapas and a drink. The food was very good and the service even better! The place was packed and had an energized ambiance without being noisy. We could have a conversation without any interference. We will return!

As you walk in, we were in all of the ambience and decor. The appetizer for the Deluxx seafood option was spectacular. Definitely will be coming back.

The server was professional with the perfect amount of attention - knew when to approach and allow us to dine and converse without interrupting. This was much appreciated. Great service Brandon! Thank you.

Service was excellent. The crab nuggets were good, but not as fresh as I like. The ahi tuna was good and spicy, but the portion was small.

Received a gift certificate for Water Grill for a gift. Had heard a lot of good reviews about this restaurant. For an appetizer we ordered the chilled 1/2 crab, unfortunately only a few ounces of meat, not worth the $ or trouble. We then ordered the Spicy Lobster Roll, which was excellent! For entrees I ordered scallops which was also excellent. My husband ordered 1 1/2 lb live Maine lobster. The claws were tender but the rest was barely edible. Manager ordered us another one, same thing. It was so chewy, I had to spit my bite into my napkin. Needless to say it was very disappointing .Management offered another entree, but too late by then. At least they removed the charge from the bill. I have to say I was looking forward to to an amazing dinner. But was rather disappointing.
