Bring in the New Year at New Year's Eve at Water Grill in Denver! This New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, enjoy a four course prix fixe menu with Guest favorites and chef-inspired creations, plus a champagne toast to bring in the New Year. An additional wine pairing enhancement will be available. The complete New Year’s Eve menu will be shared leading up to holiday. Please note that only the prix fixe menu will be available for New Year’s Eve dinner, starting at 3:00 p.m.

Water Grill in Denver was a disappointment. The food was just Ok. Our sea bass was way over salted and the pasta that it came with was cold. The calamari was ok but one of the sauces had a bad taste to it— like an off fishy taste. 🤢We have been to the Water Grills in CA and love them, so we had high expectations for the Denver location.

I absolutely LOVED this place! Exceptional service! A dozen oysters to start and grilled octopus just outstanding. I had a nice cocktail which was great value, my husband had Black Sea bass and asparagus were extremely delicious. All appetizer’s were excellent, and the dinner rolls were quite possibly the best I've ever had. Octopus appetizer was a favorite at our table. Stunning environment with beautiful wood structure and decor. Very well done. I definitely will give WG 5 ⭐️

Our server, Amy, was fantastic. Very attentive and concerned about our son’s allergies and offered alternatives when something wouldn’t work. She was attentive, kind, and thorough. Food was good. Oysters were well shucked, presented, and delicious. Spiny lobster, ciopino, salmon, shrimp, and turkey (it was thanksgiving) were all tasty! It’s a loud space but I imagine corner booths would improve that. Nice decor. Good experience made great by our excellent server, Amy!

The food was outstanding (especially our oyster platter)and the servers friendly and trying hard, though stretched thin on a busy holiday. We appreciated the quick replacement of an order that included a problematic ingredient not described in the menu, and related comping we did not request. We were puzzled, however, by what seemed to be split personalities in the ambience. The large central “sports bar” with multiple TV’s and too-loud dance club “background music” sound track clashed with the sincere effort to deliver fine seafood dining. Las Vegas in Denver we don’t need. Management should consider a more consistent identity for a more authentic experience.

Very good food but overpriced. $50 for a small piece of fish seems steep. $15 for a small piece of pie is outrageous.

Second experience where the service fell short of my expectations. Started off strong but after I received my meal I sat for 30 minutes waiting for my to go box and my check. I sat at the bar thinking that I would receive better service but original bartender went to other end of bar and I was totally forgotten. Granted it was Thanksgiving and they were super busy but even getting a water refill wasn’t easy. There are many other restaurants in the area that will be my preferred choice over Water Grill.

Our waiter, Gus, was tremendous. Explained all the favorites on the menu and all of his comments were right on target. Outstanding Icelandic Cod, Oysters were tremendous. Definitely would recommend Water Grill.

First and foremost, the exceptional variety of seafood from all coasts was perfection: fresh, flavorful, nourishing. The service left nothing to be desired, the ambience was warm and welcoming. We look forward to going back many times. This is currently the best seafood available in downtown Denver.
