So you ask why Wanda Byob?

Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad.

What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft. I now want to share what I've learned with all of you in a place I can call my own.

With the help of my wonderfully supportive wife, Gilda and my wonderful family behind me, I look forward to what's to come.

Wanda is one of our favorite go-to neighborhood spots. The food is always good and the menu and specials are always creative. Our favorite waiter, Noah always takes great care of us. I would highly recommend Wanda.

Had a delicious brunch at Wanda. Sat outside on the back patio. I had the tuna tower. The sushi-grade tuna, wasabi, avocado was amazing. My friend had the daily special omelette with monchego, mushrooms, hold the bacon. Our server was attentive and very friendly. Highly recommend this BYOB hidden gem.

Regular menu is delicious, with salads large enough to share and creative starters and entrees. Special of the night..grilled swordfish was delicious. Our server Kaili was very attentive and gracious. A neighborhood gem.

Wanda never disappoints. Some challenges on Father's Day (expected) but staff was terrific and food exceptional. We were especially glad to have Noah as our server. He is top notch every time! We will be back real soon.

Exceptional food. They accommodated my allergy which is always greatly appreciated. We had the tuna tower, short ribs and filet.

First time having brunch here and it did not disappoint. The goat crochettes were very flavourful! Also ordered the creme brûlée French toast and it was amazing! Service was great!
