Steak frites - frites were cold. My wine glass stem shattered on table and I had only taken a sip.,reordered a wine, they took forever and charged me for both glasses. Service was slow.

Food was fantastic as were the wine and drinks. Love sitting in a beautiful wine store, essentially. It feels very grand, yet it's very casual. They have a great cheese selection and many of their menu items include cheese. I had the fixed price lunch menu. The salad was beautiful and delicious and I also had the grilled cheese which was a nice mixture of cheeses including gruyere and Gouda on country bread. The portions were very generous. My friends had the caprese sandwich and the breakfast sandwich. Both looked yummy and the presentation was very pleasing. The server was sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back - highly recommended.

Wally's never disappoints! Everything on the menu is good: this time around, we particularly loved the seafood fricassée and the dorade. The hazelnut dessert is a must. We tried an Oregon pinot grigio was perfect.

Was very much looking forward to this visit, as we live in the neighborhood and are always on the look out for a place to go regularly. Unfortunately, the experience was fairly disappointing from the get go. Heaven help you if you sit outside on the patio, which we did because we wanted to enjoy the weather and the people-watching and we don't do indoor dining anymore, if we can avoid it, just as a precaution. It took a long time for anyone to even come out and talk to us after we were seated, and after that, everything seemed to happen a half hour to forty minutes at a time. We like long leisurely meals, but this was not - we'd order food and a half hour later, wonder where it was. We'd run out of wine and want to order more, but still didn't see a single employee of the restaurant for yet another half hour. The food was decent - highly recommend the truffle benedict if you're there for brunch, but the burger was just okay, which is disappointing for $35 - and lord knows they've got an extensive wine list. The Somm was very friendly and nice, and helped us figure out what to order that suited our needs, and that went great. But between the lack of service otherwise and the only so-so quality of the (very expensive) food, this was a disappointing journey. Not sure we'll go back again.

I have been to Wally’s three times in the last 2 months. I love the atmosphere. I love being able to shop for great wines and also great charcuterie. That’s just for fun. Having dinner and drinks there is always good. The pizza was delicious and the spicy lobster pasta with Vodka amazing. Also enjoyed the spicy octopus. Throw in some vegetables and salads and it’s a perfect meal. Everything has been great and all the servers were excellent. I can’t wait to go back.

Requested seating inside, towards back where quieter. Told when we were being seated that pvt party rear half of restaurant. Too bad we weren’t advised at time of confirmation. Very loud music & noisy. Difficult if you’re over 60!

So good. Always solid and consistent, the staff along with the food/drinks are top notch. Can’t beat a sunny day at Wally’s.

Very energetic place. Lots of noise so not the best for convos but I like the ambiance and the service is always 10/10

My husband and I came to town from Northern CA to see James Taylor at the Hollywood Bowl and had a dinner at Wally’s with local family while there.. Excellent Food, Service and decor. The walls are the wine cellar and the bar is huge. The grilled octopus, burrada and chicken dinner for 2 were all so delicious. Only downer - we were a party of 5. We sat at a high top table for 8 and during our dinner were asked to make room and share it with 3 other people who weren’t friendly. I recommend and would go to Wally’s again.
