After a long awaited return we are now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We are the rich flavors of Louisville, warming souls through mouth watering delights - evident throughout our breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts and invigorating tonics.

Walker's Exchange is an American Brasserie serving all the substantials and delicacies of our fair city.

Breakfast Buffet available from 7am-10:30am daily
Lunch is available from 11am-2pm
Dinner is available from 5pm-9pm
Jockey Silks bourbon bar is available from 11am-Close daily

The food quality was reminiscent of average cafeteria fare, despite the menu featuring some fancy and creative plate names. It felt like the restaurant was simply repurposing its hotel buffet space for dinner service, offering the same buffet-quality food but at an upscale price. While the ambiance might suggest a high-end dining experience, the reality didn't match up. If you're looking for a meal that justifies the cost, you might want to explore other options.

Our server was terrible, the buffet was out of so many things and we got there early enough where it shouldn’t be like that.

My students and I were at the Galt House for KMEA All State Choir. The restaurant was packed. The staff handled our group of 9 + other groups efficiently and in a timely manner. Big improvement this year!

Server was fine, but he didn't give us the right amount back, $84.80 out of a 100.00 he gave us 4.00 back, we ask him if we could get a single pattie berger and he said yes, he then charged us for a double berger, we asked him about the charge and he said they didn't have a key for single bergers so he had to charge the price for a double.

Food ranged from okay (hot brown) to very good (appetizer pretzel). Service was troublesome… several errors, lots of confusion about bill, and had to repeatedly ask to please hurry with check.

I ordered half of a fried chicken. Instead of a breast, thigh, leg, and wing, I was served two thighs, a leg, and a wing. The chicken was served directly on a plate and the fry oil seeped out and puddled on the plate leaving the pieces swimming in grease. The mac and cheese was dry and the noodles overcooked. The staff was mostly inattentive, bringing appetizers out before drinks. So many better restaurants in Louisville at this price point.

The food was okay at best. The best thing was the omelet. Not nearly as good as it used to be to be. Very disappointing. Service was okay. The coffee was never hot. If we come again we’ll order off the menu and hope for the best.

This was the second time in 2 years I tried to eat there that was a fiasco. First time was for breakfast and they closed up 30 minutes early that day as “there weren’t a lot here eating on the buffet.” So no breakfast. Second time I made a reservation for dinner and got there 15 minutes early. We were seated immediately as there were lots of tables open and no one in line waiting. Our order was taken, a hamburger, cup of soup, side salad and decaf hot coffee. After 30 minutes the coffee arrived cold in the mug. After 45 minutes our waiter came out and said the kitchen was behind and he didn’t know when our food would be out. I asked for the check for the coffee and to cancel the food order. Another long wait and the waiter said the manager would bring me the ticket for the coffee. And we continued to wait. And wait. Finally as I was pulling out a $10 bill to leave for on the table the waiter asked if the manager had been by to see me. I said no and the waiter sighed and said , no charge for the coffee. So we left By this time there were 20+ waiting to be seated and many hungry and angry people waiting for food. We left and got in our cars and had dinner outside downtown. Came back as we were staying in the hotel and the same people were still waiting to be seated. So both times (2 years apart) I tried to eat there and was unable too. Lesson learned. Hotel service itself was great. Restaurants not so much.
