This place was incredible. All was outstanding. Food, service, ambience. The bartender was awesome. I highly recommend this.

The food was delicious and the presentation wonderful. Our waitress/her service was very good, but the younger waitstaff/helpers could use some social skills. When they brought out the rolls, there was no interaction or explanation. The hostess was extremely accommodating

Sat outside which was nice, but the food was ill prepared. I went last year and it was much better, not sure what happened. The salmon was overcooked with fake grill marks and the carrot tart was not cooked all the way. Both dishes had very strange flavors Everything looked pretty but the level of taste and technique that I expected with these prices was not there. The staff was very nice and did a great job.

The menu is somewhat limited. However, the food that we ordered was very good. And the service was excellent. We would definitely visit again if we were in the area.

We were initially seated with an AC unit blowing directly on us. We asked to be reseated and a got a table where the chairs were too low, or the table too high. We felt like children at the grownup's table. The beet and carrot salad was excellent. Our entrees were very good but the salmon was a very small portion and the steak frite was very salty.

Beautifully restored inn and restaurant. Elegant atmosphere… I enjoyed my salmon entree, but my boyfriend felt that the steak frites was lacking. Very tasty warm chocolate chip cookie dessert featuring High Lawn Farm ice cream. We will return but will not rush to do so …

We enjoy dining at The Gateways, have been there several times last summer and so far this summer PLEASE bring back the eggplant caviar dish and the millefeuile dessert. They are part of what I am able to eat there and they are dishes you can’t find elsewhere. Was sooooo disappointing that our recent visit in Fathers Day 2024, that these items were removed from the menu.

As before, this food was delicious and artfully prepared. Two comments: 1) carrot and beet salad was delicious but too sweet (beets were sweet on their own so didn’t need sweet creamy dressing). 2) asparagus risotto tasted wonderful but sauce more liquidy than usual

Most enjoyable dinner. Hostess was receptive to our ask for a different table. Server said she was new, she did a fine job. My husband’s decaf was bad but they took it off our bill. Food is excellent, the roasted vegetables superb, And with our health limited diets, they had plenty to do at.
