Welcome to our home!
Waldo’s was founded by restaurateur Waldo Cesoni with the intention of becoming “the destination point” for a true Italian culinary experience.

The restaurant pays homage to the essence of the great Italian American restaurants of mid-20th century in New York, where delicious, exceptionally well-prepared food was served in settings that were simultaneously elegant, comfortable, and unpretentious.

Wow! I love this place. Best lasagna I’ve ever had….. and I have had a lot all over the world. Well done!

Overall ok but really disappointed that the attitude to corkage for a non alcoholic wine. Management said we opened the bottle and therefore $30 Charge. Most restaurants do not charge or charge a reasonable amount $10-15. Poor attitude to customer retention.

We had reservations at 5:30. We were seated at a small table next to the lounge. Very Noisy. Server was nice. Food, I love eggplant., I could hardly find the eggplant with all the cheese, tasteless sauce and burned on one end. Chicken parm, tasteless sauce and dry. This had been our go to Italian in Palm Desert but we won't be back. It was a nice small intimate restaurant but the expansion has left it noisy and no longer intimate.

We have been coming to the desert since 2010. There have been only a handful of restaurants we frequent over and over again through the years and Waldo’s will be one of them. Waldo’s was recommended by my cousin who spends the winters here. Waldo’s has a wide array of menu items and the tiramisu tastes like it was made in Italy. We were very impressed with the service teamwork, their promptness and friendliness. The three dishes we had were all delicious. We will be back this week to try some others.

The only reason we gave 3stars was due to tables being very crowded. Not enough room between and people on both sides kept bumping our chairs. Food was great, we had Eggplant Parmesan, Chicken Parmesan and fettuccine. Thank you!

Was a great place and we will be back. Got there for a 545 reservation and felt we were rushed to order and no time to visit with friends or even look at wine list. We each ordered a cocktail and before we got that he was back to take our food order. Was a great server but time was not on our side. One of us ordered veal with bone in and it came so dry and hard could not be eaten. Waste of a good meal. No we did complain. All in all was and is a great and could be a great place if they did not try to rush you and out.

Great food at a very good value. The service, waitress and server were excellent. They open for dinner at 4:00PM with makes it very accommodating for us to attend a McCallum show at 7:00PM.
