we went there to try out the $30 taste of Wagamama, the waitress was confused and I had to explain it to her. Food took a long time to come out, the experience comes with 3 drinks but they were out of one and didn’t give me any substitution, also it supposed to come with a 3 oz sake but I was given 1oz. Talked to the waitress and she was confused but at least she gave me another one. Chicken curry was dry and not enough sauce. I think overall food was good but the experience wasn’t. Waitress didn’t come often to check on us, and we had to ask another waitress for utensil.

We made a reservation so we could try the tasting menu as it was our first time there and saw the advertisement on their website/social media. We were disappointed to find out it was sold out with no other substitutions. We decided to stay and tried the ramen, bao buns, one of the juices and a lemon tart. The food was good but the service was really slow overall. Our waitress was friendly but maybe not enough staff at this location? I asked for a side of sriracha and that took 15-20 mins (and I had almost finished my food when I got it). We may give it another try to see if it was an off day since we did enjoy the food.

We are at Wagamama on Jan 18 for dinner. We called the restaurant to let them know that we were running about 10 minutes behind due to an accident on the highway the man who answered was extremely rude in his replies. He he did let us know that it would be a bit since they were booked for the night to be able to be seated. Once at the restaurant there was plenty of tables opem you don’t wanna know about my Negra so we were set immediately by The very nice hostess. our server came shortly after and it was very nice and took our orders. We ordered the duck bao buns and tuna tataki to start off. The bao buns were delicious, the bread was light and fluffy and the duck was well made. The tuna was a bit dry. For entrees we both ordered the steak bulgogi medium rare. The noodles were over cooked and the meat was chewy. I returned mine as it was well done and what came back wasn’t any better. Once we got our time and paid out one of the receivers fell after the transaction had already been processed. The server came back and told me that the transaction had been canceled even though I had already received a receipt saying that it had been approved and with an authorization number she left and the manager came back which was very awkward as he was telling me that even though the transaction was pending on my card it had not gone through. The whole or deal was very awkward since my card had already been charged even had me check my bank at the table! Wont be back as the customer service and food are simply not worth it.

The are still working out some service kinks, but the food is excellent! The tasting menu gave us a chance to try several things. So happy they are on Uber Eats. Now I know exactly what to order!

After thoroughly enjoying Wagamama on trips to the UK, I was excited to see they had opened a Dallas location! Unfortunately, all of the food we ordered was overly sweet and/or heavy! I seems like they adjusted their core food principles for an "American Market" and significantly reduced the quality of their ingredients and recipes. They do keep the tradition of free green tea, but weirdly don't mention it on the menu. Ask for it when you arrive. it's delicious.

Our first time to Wagamama Dallas but will not be our last. The food and service was excellent. We were heading to the Dallas Mavericks game on Friday Jan. 3rd and wanted to try something new and close to the AAC. All four of us ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their dinner. Wide variety on the menu too.
