   Service was slow to non existent. menu was limited and bland. We ordered soba noodles which was just noodles and broth with a small protein serving of your choice. Beverages were limited and were never refilled. Took forever

   Terrible and strange service. There was clearly no one in charge, and the order in which they served tables took forever. We ordered 3 nigiri and 2 noodle dishes, it took over an hour for the food to come and when the noodles came, the server spilled the hot broth on my husband. He just kind of stood there even after we asked for a napkin, at which point we found out they didn’t even have napkins, he brought out a used kitchen towel. It could be a cool space but it’s either under different ownership or just totally run into the ground.

   The restaurant was nice and quiet with enjoyable music and wind chimes playing. The Cold soba noodles with sous vide duck breast was delicious. Huge pieces of fish on the nigiri sushi. Soba crème brûlée was amazing.

   Best nigiri on the island!!! Soba dishes 4+/5- Overall--- is highly recommended!!! Will definitely come back!

   My wife has celiac and we were excited about this restaurant because their website goes on and on how gluten free their food is. Well it isn't. They do not even use gluten free soy sauce and soy sauce is almost in everything. The only thing my wife could find to order was the Scallion Hot Soba Noodles. As always we immediately told our server about my wife's celiac condition but he even asked my wife, "How sensitive to gluten are you?" For a restaurant that presents itself as being gluten savvy this is a insensitive question. So if you have celiac please be aware to call the restaurant and confirm the level of true gluten free items on the menu. The food we had was very good but the whole experience was not worth the 45 minute drive from Kaanapali. I wouldn't recommend unless they changed their gluten free practices.

   Absolutely delicious sushi and soba noodles. Adorable little gem hidden off the main drag of Paia.

   Love the ambiance. Noodle portions were small for the price. Great place that could be amazing with a few small adjustments.

   Authentic soba noodles. Serene atmosphere that makes you feel you’re in Japan.

    The Soba options here are diverse and all equally delicious. The accoutrements add to the meal in splendid ways. Their sashimi is divine. The staff are delightful. The space is clearly designed after the restaurant’s name. Less is more. Soba is impermanent. A beautiful gem.
