We visited VU Rooftop with the expectation of enjoying the rooftop area, only to find it closed for a private event. If reservations were allowed to be made available, we should have access to the entire experience of the Rooftop. Had we known, there was a private event when making a reservation, we would have been able to plan accordingly and avoid this disappointment. Unfortunately, due to this experience, we will not be returning and will be taking our business elsewhere.

I ordered green salad pretty simple, follow by shrimp pasta not to impress, accompanied by a cantarito which the bartender mistakenly gave the waitress a margarita, and for dessert what look like chocolate pudding with wiped cream and dry cranberries on top. Not to mention only one waitress for the whole outside patio.

Not what was expected music was way too loud not much food options drinks could be better requested outdoor seating and received indoor left about 45 minutes after arrival

VU is my favorite rooftop. Always a great go-to place for live music, great food, and drinks.

My experience there was great. My husband and I enjoyed the food and view. We planned on eating outside, but you have to reserve a spot and we didn’t know that. Only small problem I had was the prices. I think they were kind of high.

Excellent service and drink/food recommendations from Jennifer. Drinks: HennyFrooom the Block and Boss Lady, both were flavorful and satisfying. App: Popcorn Shrimp, great breading and dipping sauce. Dinners: Romesco Pasta and Vu Burger, both were good and priced right. We had a reservation and were seated in the bar by the windows looking East. Atmosphere was fun and inviting. We will be back. NOTE: FYI - They added gratuity to our bill.

Our waiter was really nice, however, it took over 30 minutes for our server to take our order. The crowd was younger, which is out of anyone’s control. The restrooms were disgusting.
