We continue to love walking over to Vori. Brought some houseguests and dinner was so aweseome! Food was so good we ordered the rib eye a second time! Ha! Love having you in the neighborhood. Keep up the good work.

We attended a special evening with a tasting menu accompanied by Gaia wines. Leto Gaia’s head of production in Santorini was on hand to explain how the wines were made. It was both a very informative and delicious evening. The food and wine combinations worked perfectly and would happily return and try another such evening. Vori please do it again!

They've only been open for about a year and half, but they seem to improve by the day. They are a great great addition to the neighbourhood.

This was the fourth or fifth time I have eaten at Vori. It was the worst by far. I shall not be eating there again. I was embarrassed as I was taking out two American friends who are visiting this country. While the service was good, the food was mediocre at best. As I spend a lot of time in Greece (on Ikaria and Patmos in particular), I know a thing or two about Greek food. My meat balls were few and very dry. The loukoumades were, quite frankly, a disgrace - they were burnt, shrivelled and chewy to the point of being inedible. (The last time I was at Vori they were good). The helpings of the other dishes served were small and not particularly tasty. To charge well over £100 for what we had - mediocre food, one glass of wine, a Coca Cola and mineral water - was a ‘rip-off’. I have lived in Holland Park since 1978 and I cannot think of a worse meal I have had - or one that was worse value for money. I should have complained at the time but I did not wish to make a scene in front of American friends, whom I do not know especially well. Had I been with close friends I would have done so. I must admit that Mazi in Notting Hill was my first choice but was fully booked - I have eaten there many times and the food there is more reliable and better value for money. I should add that I am also averse to background music being played in restaurants. It is distracting and means we have to speak louder. I regret having to write such a blistering review but I was not only very disappointed but on the verge of genuine anger. The location of ‘Vori’ has seen restaurants come and go. There has tended to be a rapid turnover since ‘Giraffe’ closed in, I think, 2019. If ‘Vori’ carries on as present, it, too, will be short-lived. I called in to express my disappointment to the manager. He was not there but I was assured that he would get in touch. Rudely, he has not bothered to do so. That was three days ago. Do I need to say more? Only DO NOT GO TO VORI!

Fabulous authentic Greek restaurant. Food was outstanding and came out at a good pace - not too much all at once, plenty of time to linger over the dip and salad before the next 3 dishes arrived, without feeling either rushed or forgotten. The Cretan red wine we had was also lovely, and the waiter offered for us to try that one and the Thracian wine and choose which one we liked best. Pretty good value as well for the restaurant location and standard of food. Only very slight criticism would be that the pork souvlaki was a little over cooked/ dry, but everything else was amazing. I'll be heading back with my daughter on the weekend!

Vori was a fantastic dining experience. Beautiful decor, attentive service, food was full of flavour and well presented. Will be recommending to friends and will be back. Delighted to have come across this restaurant! And wonderful value!
