   Delicious japanese cuisine for an affordable price! Server was great, fast amd on point. Will definitely come back again and recommend to others.

   We went on Mothers Day so it was very busy. We got our seats and and ordered and our dishes arrived in a reasonable time. Because it was a busy night we did not get check on until we were finished. The Food was very good with average prices. Enjoyed our time there.

   Went here with my husband for a regular evening out, wanted to try a new sushi restaurant in Edmonton and opted for Volcano. Very unusual ambiance with a huge projection screen for sports games, loud dance music playing with Asian decor. Upon greeting from our server, I ordered miso soup, shrimp tempura, green onions cake to start for the two of us then we opted to share the Philadelphia roll and the Déjà Vu roll. The spicy tuna roll was very average tasting. The tuna looked like over processed cat food. The shrimp tempura was way over fried as well as the green onion cake. After leaving the restaurant, within two hours I felt quite ill and continued to have some gastrointestinal symptoms that proceeded into the next evening. Would never go back. Overpriced, poorly prepared sushi. Never again.

   Food was amazing and tasted fresh, was a busy night because of Valentines Day. They gave a rose to the ladies. Was our first visit and will be back again. Is a bit pricy but worth it.

   Overall disappointing. Menu was extensive and the server unfortunately was not knowledgable. Unsure if we had a language barrier or if they really didn't know. Server kept returning trying to get us to order quickly (they were not busy). When we asked for help they were unable to guide us. We eventually "settled" on sashimi. It was good - but lacked sauces etc. to enrich the experience. The wasabi and ginger was great.

   This was the second time I was there, both times for a lunch with a friend, same friend both times and we both loved it! Look forward to going back! Staff recognized us and is extremely friendly and helpful! Food is amazing and great value for your money! HUGE portions!! Would recommend every time.

   Swarms of fruit flies. Cluttered counters. Dirty table. Eclectic decor. They need to get some apple cider vinegar for the flies, get rid of the boxes in the hall to the bathroom, staff bags and personal items need to be taken away from the "bar" seats. Clean the tables better. Too cluttered/busy for an Asian restaurant in my opinion. Dust the display items between the tables, they are cute but dirty. Tempura was overly greasy. Make oil hotter, put in for less time, drain afterwards. Is there chicken broth in your Miso soup? Sushi was pretty good.

   Gluten free pizza option. The crust is superb and the pizza delicious.

    The variety of both Japanese and Vietnamese food was great. There were so many kinds of sushi, including tamago nigiri sushi, which my daughter loves. I would definitely come back to try the saba or pho. Definitely recommended.
