With slow-roasted local meats. Rich savory sauces. Handmade pasta. Fresh-from-the-farm vegetables. Volario’s serves bold, earthy fare inspired by the pasture-rich terrain and fragrant kitchens across the Italian Alps – right here in the Rocky Mountains.

With a menu that changes with the harvest of the season and the catches from the streams, Volario’s surprises the palate with both local produce and faraway flair. As you savor the rustic and robust flavors from the mountainous regions of northern Italy, we invite you to sit back with a nice Chianti and reflect on your day in the majestic mountains here.

Our dishes are hearty and adventurous, much like Volario himself. The legend in the Grand Valley is as old as the pines that shade the creek. Volario wasn’t from these parts. Like many of us, he visited and couldn’t imagine leaving.

Our server was SO personable without being overly friendly. I think her name was Braden (?) and she had a great smile! We enjoyed our evening there very much. The lighting and ambiance is great. Would return!

Food and cocktails were phenomenal, dessert wasn’t something I’d order again. Our server Sean/Shaun was kind and attentive throughout service and took both dessert items off of our bill :) Very pleasant setting overall would come back.

A cozy Italian restaurant with excellent food. We enjoyed a night out with our family.

We were really disappointed with Volarios. We were excited to hear that they served authentic Italian food and made their own pasta, bread and sauces. Only to be disappointed starting with the service, we had to ask twice for our wine that we ordered as we arrived and sat at our table. We ordered from a waiter that could not pronounce any of the food. We asked for bread and olive oil. That took over twenty minutes, the bread was focaccia and not traditional Italian bread. The food took another 30 minutes after that. I ordered the Lasagna with bolognese sauce, my wife had the cremini mushrooms pasta. Both dishes were terrible. The lasagna was over powered by the terrible sauce that had no Italian flavor at all. The cremini pasta was making flavor and very watery. We will not be back and would not recommend this restaurant if your expectation is good food and service.

Great ambiance, even better food! From the fresh bread to the tasty pizza (tried tangy Italian and margarita) and delicious desserts (tried affogato and lemon brulee) i’d recommend it all. We usually go to Deno’s across the street when we’re in town but this will definitely be on our roster now as well.

Happy hour specials were a great value - it was a weird experience arriving at 445 and not being able to order from the HH and dinner menu. We almost felt like an inconvenience or we arrived too early - we wanted a res at 5 or 530 but none were available. Pizza app was great - our pastas arrived luke warm, almost cold. Overall it was a fine experience and we will probably come back during HH OR dinner.

Excellent food and ambience. Although we had a reservation we still had to wait 10 minutes for the hostess to greet us and then another 10 minutes for our table to be ready. The restaurant was far from full. Otherwise a lovely dinner.
