Volare's Italian Restaurant, in Rutherford, is a local favorite for its exceptional Italian cuisine made with fine ingredients and served in a warm and charming setting. The mussels bianco in a sumptuous white wine sauce and the carpaccio di manzo sliced raw beef with provolone, capers and arugula make delectable starter choices. Some of Volare's Italian Restaurant's specialty entrée dishes include the spezzato murphy chicken sautéed with mushrooms, onions and cherry peppers, the sogliola con polpa di granchio fillet of sole topped with crab in a buttery white wine sauce and the vitello alla Toscano veal scaloppini with prosciutto, asparagus and fontina cheese. In the mood for pasta? Went to Volare’s have not been there in a while but heard new owners had taken over. I must say the food and service were exceptional. We will be back!!

I had been here about 8 years ago and wasn’t very impressed but apparently there was a change of ownership and it’s now a lot better. Food was delicious and service was great.

Always great service, great food and very inexpensive. We eat there generally once a week unless we are traveling. The owner and his wife work there and they are wonderful people.

We had an incredible dining experience at this Italian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious every bite was a delight! The service was exceptional. The owner himself attended to us, providing friendly and attentive service while thoroughly explaining the menu options and the chef's unique preparation methods. We left with full bellies We will definitely visit again It's a fantastic spot to dine Highly recommend! Thank you! Dziekujemy :) !!!

Food and service were fine but everything was a bit overpriced. Had a really bad cappuccino - I definitely expect more from an Italian restaurant. A little sad to see the warmth and welcoming atmosphere is no longer present.

Where do I start? Calamari was very good. The fuscilli in vodka sauce was delightful. Tartufo for dessert is a must! The service was exceptional and Andy was very pleasant and attentive. We will definitely return and highly recommend! Exceptional value!!!

Our party of six enjoyed the food, service and overall dining experience. Great to have a traditional Italian restaurant in Rutherford that delivers quality food, attentive service at a good value.

Just went back to Volares after the new ownership and we could not be more impressed! Everything we had was absolutely excellent! The owner was so nice and the service was outstanding. So happy to have a fabulous classic Italian restaurant back in town! Will be going back often! Perfect dinner!
