Fun place for brunch or quick meal. Staff are excellent! Very hot upstairs in the summer and could use more casual seating areas.

I have been to this restaurant a few times. This time was a little rougher. The anticipatory heat was taken into account for this reservation. Our group consisted of a toddler, 3 middle age women, and 2 seniors, and it was brutal sitting upstairs because of the lack of A/C. We were sweating profusely. There were also flies buzzing around our heads. My meal was good, the portion size was a bit lacking, 2 short ribs for the price seemed a bit sad. My MIL didn't think the chicken salad sandwich was all that great. My wife felt the fries lacked crispiness for them to fried in duck fat. This place seems a bit overpriced for what you get. The waitress was kind and helpful. Also, we received a gift from one of our friends and we left it behind and the restaurant called me to let me know. That was above and beyond. I just wish the ambiance was bit nicer, we might have stayed for dessert. A bit disappointing.

This is one of the higher rated venues in Old Town so we thought we’d give it a try this weekend. Definitely “one and done” for us. First, it’s a very noisy environment — which some may not mind, but know going in that conversation is going to be a challenge. Second, the quality of the entrees is average at best — we had a burger that was rather small under a giant bun and crab Benedict that was heavily breaded. Filling, yes, but underwhelming in terms of taste. Cocktails were nicely prepared but again somewhat smaller than expected. Our wait staff was very good, attentive and fast, so they’ve got that going for them. However, with a lot of choices within a few blocks we won’t do that again.

The banana waffle is to die for! We ate here 2 years ago and came back with high expectations… it was just as good as I remembered! The breakfast burrito was very good too.

My daughter and I had a late dinner. We made reservations on the ap and it said that there was not an outdoor table available, but once we got there the hostess was sweet and found us a table on the patio! Our waitress was Alexandria and she was great! Our drinks came out within 5 minutes of sitting down and our food came out quickly too. The only thing we had to wait for was the check which took a little while. Everything was great!

Upon our arrival, we were seated within two minutes of our reservation. The food was very good and we will be returning. The staff was very attentive and great.
