Violet is a gem, as good as any Bistro to eat anywhere. Killer cocktails. Well curated wine list. I want to return with friends from Alaska for responsible hedonism. Amen.

Thanks for a lovely night out at Violet! We tried the 5 course American omakase. Every course was delicious . My favorite was the black cod and my husband loved the aged beef. The ambiance was great for a date.Not too loud to have a conversation. Softly lit for a romantic vibe. Glad we tried something new!

The American Omakase with wine pairing at Violet never disappoints. Artful and tasty dishes impress with their flavor, not their bulk. The staff is super-friendly, as is the chef, and we always have a great experience dining there. Highly recommend.

Dined here based on a friend’s recommendation. The food was delicious. The chef/owner introduced himself. He was lovely. The waitstaff was excellent. Would definitely go back.

Did the tasting menu. The steak was amazing. Foie gras was on the sour side but still good. The other 3 was not memorable..

Loved it! I'd never been but I thought I'd go somewhere I haven't gone to before. Service was exemplary from top to bottom. The drinks were strong, the food was mighty. Everything was perfectly seasoned. Foie gras appetizer to dessert was all perfect!

Went in by myself for my birthday. Server Karel was so kind and attentive without being overbearing. Had the 5-course tasting menu which is a super steal for what you get. Food was outstanding. Will definitely be back. This place is a hidden gem.

I get to come to Seattle once a year for a convention I work with. I found Violet when I was looking for a nice place to take clients for dinner the years ago. It has since become a must visit each time I come to Seattle. The atmosphere is delightful and goes very far in selling a cozy farm to table bistro. It is always clean and wonderful. The drinks are well crafted, a wine list that is just what it needs to be and nothing more. There is something for every pallet. The food is very well prepared and the Fois Gras is among the best I have every had. I have even had it for my dessert it was so good the first time. The food is prepared prefectly and seasoned very well. There is not a bad choice to be had. The seared Cod is out of this world and a must for every table. A wonderful experience everytime I come to town.
